Good morning! Today begins the new challenge for The Ton’s Challenge Blog. This month, we have a beautiful color inspiration photo for you to feast your eyes on!
Isn’t that just so pretty?! Here is my take on the inspiration photo:
I started by cutting the beautiful peony blooms from the Haute Stacks stamps and dies to cut and stamp the flowers using Peach Blossom, Red Sangria, and Coral Cavern, and Deep Emerald and Basil Mojito for the leaves. I die cut the large stack of books and heat embossed it using The Ton’s beautiful Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I used a panel of rose gold mercury glass paper that I found in my stash to die cut the vase from the Haute Stacks dies.
Next, I cut the Vintage Frames dies, covered them with Versamark and embossed them with Rose Gold Embossing Powder. I added some Silver Foil behind to create some “mirrors” for my gallery wall. I added a bit of color to the stack of books with my Zig markers and stamped the greeting with True Navy ink.
I found some of these beautiful rose gold foil envelopes at my local big box craft store, and it matched my rose gold accents on my card perfectly, so I decided to decorate it using the fabulous Pretty Mail set. I started by die cutting the beautiful frame image from some white adhesive card stock, then stamped the coordinating frame image from Pretty Mail using True Navy ink. I placed it on the front of the envelope. I die cut the adorable Pretty Mail word die from the same white adhesive card stock, then used my Clarity Stencil Brushes and True Navy ink to blend a navy ombre. I adhered them to the back of the rose gold envelope.
Now, it’s your turn! Grab your favorite stamps from The Ton and create a project based on this pretty inspiration photo! You have until the end of the month to get your project linked up to the blog post. Have fun, and good luck!!!
