Concord and 9th’s Second Birthday Celebration!

Good morning! As today is August 9th, this means that Concord and 9th has a fabulous new release… a new release for their second birthday celebration (exciting, right?!), and we at Where Creativity Meets C9 were lucky enough to be asked by Greg and Angie from Concord and 9th to be their guests for the month of August! So, instead of seeing the normal two posts from everyone on the team throughout the month, we will join the Concord and 9th blog on Fridays for their Friday Feature posts! The Challenge this month is…

Anything goes! Super simple, right?

For their second birthday celebration, Concord and 9th have come up with an absolutely marvelous new release chock full of birthday-themed goodies. They also have an adorable incentive set that you can receive with any $60 purchase from the Concord and 9th website! It is on this Thank You incentive set that we are focusing our efforts today.

For my project today, I chose to work with the beautiful Petals and Pallets combo set to set off the bold fonts in the new Seriously, Thank You incentive set. I die cut and stamped the flowers in a pretty pink, purple, and yellow color scheme. I die cut a circle from some white card stock, then stamped the incentive set once in black ink and again on a piece of scrap paper using the same purple ink from my floral bouquet. I fussy cut the purple banner and adhered it over the top of the black stamped banner on my circle die cut.

Next, I stamped a 5.5×5.5 inch square card base with the Barnwood Background stamp and some gray ink. After I arranged my flowers on my card front behind the circle die cut, I used Press ‘n Seal to pick up my arrangement and add dimensional adhesive to the back. I adhered all of the die cuts to my card front, then added some sparkly sequins as a touch of sparkle.

And that’s it! Our challenge for this month is an easy one: Anything Goes! Just use your Concord and 9th stamps to create a card, then add it to our linkup to be entered to win our challenge! Stop by the Concord and 9th blog for all of the details on the beautiful new products in their birthday release, then get your shop on so that you can earn this beautiful (and so versatile!) incentive set! I’ll see you back here on Friday to share some more inspiration from this beautiful new release! Have a marvelous day, friends!
