Good morning! Happy New Year’s Eve! Today happens to be the birthday of Melissa Hewitt, the fabulous owner of Honey Bee Stamps. To celebrate her birthday and to help ring in the New Year, the Honey Bee Stamps design team is having a blog hop using the darling Celebration Box stamp set. Melissa is generously giving away one Celebration Box stamp set with any $36 purchase on December 31, 2017 through January 1, 2018! We have a hop full of inspiration using this darling stamp set, so be sure to hop along with everyone, starting at the Honey Bee blog!
I know I said I was done creating Christmas cards, but I can’t get enough of this darling Blah Humbunny, and I combined him with lots of bits and pieces from other Honey Bee sets! I don’t think I have ever used so many stamp sets on one card before! I started by stamping the bunny and hat from Blah Humbunny, the tree from More Flakey Friends, and (of course) the box from Celebration Box using Copic-friendly ink. I colored them and die cut them all out using their coordinating dies. After coloring the box with Copics, I used some Copic Opaque White to add some white plaid to the box and make it look really Christmas-y.
After coloring the images, I turned my attention to the card base. I stamped the Christmas from Merry Christmas and the “delivery” and “handle with care” from Welcome Baby on the card base, then blended a bit of red ink in the corners using an ink blending tool. I adhered the die cuts to the card base using dimensional adhesive. I added the “handle with care” using both dimensional and liquid adhesive.
To create a “frosty” look to the tree, I added some Nuvo Fresh Snowfall glitter accents. I also added a few gems from the Rainbow Rhinestone mix to add some sparkle.
Be sure to visit the Honey Bee Blog for all of the details on the sale and links for the hop, and then visit the Honey Bee store to make your purchase of $36 or more to receive your free Celebration Box stamp set!!
