Good morning! Today is Day 2 of the Reverse Confetti March 2018 Release Sneak Peeks! Yesterday’s peek included some adorable Honey Bears and the cutest little seals…. if you didn’t see them, you need to check them out!!
Today’s focus: Tall Blooms. Right up my alley. I’ve made so many projects with these little blooms….
Aren’t they just lovely? Simple, but just enough detail to make them really pop. Gorgeous. Today, I’ve used just the greenery (I saved the flowers for another post!!) to create this serene, relatively simple sympathy card. Lots of white space, lots of leaves… just right for a sympathy card.
I die cut and stamped several of the foliage branches using Copic-friendly ink onto white card stock. I colored them in shades of green Copics (I will list all of the supplies at the end of this post.) I also stamped the pretty, appropriately simple greeting from Tall Blooms on a panel of white card stock.
I trimmed an A2 sized panel of green patterned paper from the brand new Fun Times patterned paper pack and mounted it on an A2 card base. I adhered my white sentiment panel in the center so that the pretty, subtly patterned paper was peeking out at the top and bottom. I arranged the foliage in a pretty swag beneath the greeting and added a simple twine bow to add a bit of texture.
Simple, classic, perfect for a sympathy card.
Well, that’s all for me today! I will be back tomorrow with more Reverse Confetti release goodies! In the meantime, be sure to leave comments on the Reverse Confetti blog, as well as the different design team members’ blogs (and the ‘Fetti Friends!) to be eligible to win a $15 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti shop! More comments=more entries in the contest! Enjoy all of the inspiration, and I’ll see you back here tomorrow!
