Good morning! I’m back today with another post for the Honey Bee Stamps Birthday Celebration! Honey Bee is turning three, and to celebrate we have a massive release to share with you over the next several days! Today, we are sharing sneak peeks of some sweet little ladybugs, some lovely sentiment sets, and a super cool flower card die. (You can see all of the details on the Honey Bee Blog!) I chose to use the Branch and Leaves standalone die set combined with Best Parents to create a Father’s Day card!
To start, I die cut the lovely Branch and Leaves die set that we showed you a sneak peek of yesterday. I love the amount of dimension you can get with just some dies and some card stock! I adhered the two layers of leaves together and set them aside. I die cut and stamped the greeting using the new Best Parents stamps and dies. I kept the layout and color scheme relatively simple, as this is a Father’s Day card, and men probably don’t need those extra frills. 😉 For the card base, I blended a Hexi Patterns stencil with some white pigment ink onto an A2 Kraft panel to add some interest to the background.
I adhered the die cuts with a combination of dimensional and liquid adhesive. Love creating cards with die cuts as the focus! Quick and easy and so much dimension.
Well, what do you think? Are you smitten with this release?! Melissa has outdone herself. Remember, these products will be available Tuesday, May 1 at midnight, PST! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous day!
It’s so hard to come up with a nice simple Father’s Day card but you did it! I really do like this card.
