Good morning! Today, the Where Creativity Meets C9 team is joining Tracey McNeeley’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags! You can get oodles of tag inspiration for your holiday gift wrapping all month long, with each day focusing on a different company. There are also many different ways to win prizes donated by the generous sponsors, so visit the blog post to find out how to enter to win! Today, the focus is Concord and 9th, and I’ve pulled out some of the older-but-still-classic stamps and dies to create this monochromatic tags with a pop of turquoise. Let’s get started with the details!
I began by stamping one of my all-time favorite Concord and 9th images: Plaid Background. This stamp set has a gorgeous, full size Buffalo plaid stamp that is the perfect holiday plaid! I stamped it using dark gray ink on white card stock, then used the Monogram tag die to die cut the base of the tag. I then used the base die and the smaller stitched die together to cut a dark gray frame for the edge of the plaid base.
I then die cut the greeting from some black sparkle card stock using the Season of Cheer dies from Concord and 9th. I backed the “to the New Year” with white card stock, then adhered them using liquid and dimensional foam adhesive to the tag front, leaving room at the bottom for some foliage. Using the same Season of Cheer dies, I die cut some pine sprigs, leaves, and berries from silver glitter and teal foil card stock and adhered them to the bottom of the tag in a little bouquet.
I added some twine to create the hanger for the tag and added some white Nuvo drops for the berries.
Well, that’s all for my project today! I hope you’re enjoying all of the inspiration for your holiday tags from this fantastic event… Tags are always something I struggle with, so any extra inspiration is super helpful! Don’t forget to check out Tracey’s blog to find out all of the different ways that you can win one of many prizes! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous weekend!
