Good morning! I wanted to share one last “wintry” card with you today featuring a project that I made for the Hero Arts Season of Wonder catalog.
For my project, I wanted to showcase this beautiful Deer and Ornament Fancy die. I began by die cutting it from some watercolor paper, then used the Hero Arts Liquid watercolors to add some color and definition to the intricate die cut. I also added a little twine bow to the top of the watercolored ornament die cut.

Next, I used the Woodgrain Fancy Die with some kraft card stock to create a super textured, rustic background. I mounted the ornament die cut on the front using some foam tape to add extra dimension. The final touch was the sentiment from Ski Holiday, heat embossed on some green card stock using gold embossing powder.

Well, that’s all for my final holiday project this year! I have a few “wintry” projects to show you still, but those will have to be saved for 2019! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous penultimate day of 2018!

Very pretty, love the light touch of colour, thank you for sharing your last winter card, are you moving into spring themes & colours next ? Have a brilliant start to the new year & thank you for a year of amazing inspiration.x
I love the soft watercoloring you added to your die cut. Beautiful card!
This was my favourite die for Christmas. I just adore your card with it.
