Hi there! I know, I’m a little late today, but I wanted to share my card for this month’s Man Card Monday! Birthday cards for guys are always in short supply in my stash, so I thought I would create one using some new dies from Hero Arts and add a snarky sentiment, perfect for that smart alecky guy in your life!
I began by die cutting the Party Confetti die from black card stock and backed it with an A2 panel of Adriatic card stock. (That shade of teal is absolutely heavenly!) I also die cut a “happy” from white card stock and added it to the card front.
Once I had the die cuts completed, I stamped a “birthday” and “to you” on thin strips of white card stock, then stamped the snarky “don’t expect any gifts from me” from Irreverent Birthday Messages. What guy doesn’t like a bit of snark?
Well, that’s all for this month’s Man Card Monday! I hope you’re having a marvelous Monday!
Hello Emily this landed in my inbox this morning, such a fun, sassy comment, & very truthful at times hehehe ! Great look with the pops of blue through the black & the crisp white. Thank you for sharing x
I am always looking for man cards. This is a card I would make. Thanks.
