Good morning! I have a quick post for you today using some of the new items from the newest Hero Arts catalog! The catalog is filled with some beautiful new springy products that are perfect for creating simple, elegant projects. Let’s get started with the details for my project today!

I began by die cutting the new Monarch Butterfly Fancy Die from some Hero Arts vellum. This vellum is a nice, heavy weight card stock, and it die cuts like a dream, especially with super intricate dies.

Next, I blended a bit of Stone Wash ink on some of the new Periwinkle card stock from the newest Hero Arts catalog. The new card stocks are gorgeous and such a luxurious weight. After lightly blending the Stone Wash ink in the center of the card front using the Picket Fence Studios blender brushes, I added a few spritzes of Hero Arts Shimmer Spray.

I added a sentiment on a strip of white card stock with silver embossing powder, then placed my butterfly in the center of my card front with tiny dabs of adhesive in the center to be covered by the white card stock strip, popped up with foam adhesive.
Well, that’s all for my project today! I am waiting for spring to arrive… but also don’t mind these last cool days of winter. My favorite days are those that you just need a sweater and some cute flats. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous day!

Emily, I just love this card. Blue…a butterfly…who could ask for more! Your crafting is so well done. tfs
