Good morning! It’s the last Monday of the month, so that means it’s time for another Man Card Monday! This time, I’m using some of the adorable new stamps from the 2019 Hero Arts catalog to create a card fit for little man (or maybe even a big man!). I used the new Fly High Animals and some sponge daubing to create a little sky scene fit for a little guy! Let’s get started with the details!

I began by stamping and clear embossing the plane and its little puppy pilot from Fly High Animals onto some watercolor paper, then using my Daniel Smith paints to watercolor the little guy and his pilot. I also embossed a greeting from the Fly High Animals onto some vellum with white embossing powder.

For the background, I used some Scrapbook.com sponge daubers and Unicorn White pigment ink to add some clouds to a panel of Periwinkle card stock. I also used some White Watercolor to do some artistic splattering just to add a bit more texture to the card front.

I trimmed a bit off of the bottom of the blue panel to allow some of the white card base to show through, then added the plane and sentiment using foam adhesive to add extra dimension.
Well, that’s all for this month’s Man Card Monday! Thanks so much for dropping by today, and have a marvelous day!

Plane brilliant ( hehe) Great fun idea behind this card. Such clean, crisp background. I enjoy seeing your man card Monday posts as I still struggle for male cards. Thank you x
Fantastic card! Adorable critter and I love the background. Have so much trouble with clouds. I enjoy seeing how other people do them.
