Hi there! Have you shopped the new Leading Ladies release from Ellen Hutson yet? We added a few new additions to the Leading Ladies family this month, with the new Grand Lady (who you can see in action here) and the sweet Little Gentleman, who I’ve put to use for today’s post! Let’s get started with the details!
I began by stamping the sweet little guy and some of his friends from Little Gentleman using Intense Black ink onto some Copic-friendly white card stock. I colored them using a variety of Copics, adding some stripes to his jacket. (My own little boy has a jacket very similar to this!). I kept the coloring very similar to my own little guy, with a mop of dark brown hair.
For the card base, I stamped a puddle on some masking paper, then stamped another on the card base and covered it with the masking paper. I blended some Altenew Just Green ink on the bottom of the card front for some grass, then removed the mask and colored the puddle with my Copic markers. I also added some Turquoise ink to the top of the card base to create a “sky,” then added some clouds die cut using Hero Arts Cloud Infinity Dies.
