HI there! Today, I am thrilled to be taking part in the Waffle Flower March 2019 Release Blog Hop! I was lucky enough to see some of the beautiful sets being released today at Creativation, and was particularly enamored of the new floral sets. One can never have too many flowers, right? You should have arrived from the utterly fabulous Jessica Frost Ballas’s blog, and your next stop is the incredibly talented Channin Pelletier’s blog.
From Nina: Hi everyone! We are excited to announce the arrival of Waffle Flower’s March 2019 release! This month we have 5 new stamps and 7 dies.
We have the lovely Lilac Dreams set (stamp, die, combo) illustrated by Oana Befort this month which brings to mind summer breezes and sweet scented flowers. We also have a new Bouquet Builder set featuring a beautifully arranged bouquet of wildflowers illustrated by Karla Jodoin (stamp, die, combo). The pretty floral elements from our Loved stamp set is now back in a much bolder format in XOXO (stamp, die, combo). To compliment the adorable Be Her stamp set, we now have a dapper Be Him set (stamp, die, combo)! The Animal Tags set, designed by JJ Bolton, (stamp, die, combo) can be customized to create the cutest bear, panda or frog tags. This month we also have two stand alone dies. The Stitched Rose (stand alone die) die allows you to add the look of beautiful stitching to a card in the shape of a pretty rose. The Wave Texture Die (stand alone die) incorporates fluid stitched lines that are reminiscent of a rolling wave, falling rain, or gentle winds.

For my project today, I chose to get my color on with the new Bouquet Builder 3 (WF|EH|SSS). This stamp set features such a beautiful array of blooms, (including a bouquet and several individual blooms and foliage) and was an absolute blast to color! I began by stamping the image on a panel of white, Copic-friendly card stock using Intense Black ink. I then used my Copic markers in a pretty cornflour blue, plum, and lavender color scheme. I then die cut the finished Copic-colored image out with the coordinating dies. (I love that the entire bouquet can be cut out with one swipe of my die cut machine!)

After I’d colored and die cut my main floral image, I die cut a white frame (EH|SSS) and popped it up on a white card base using dimensional foam tape. I added the floral bouquet with foam tape, overlapping some of the flowers with the frame die cut.

After I’d arranged the flowers and frame (EH|SSS) I used the coordinating sentiment dies included in the Bouquet Builder 3 combo(WF|EH|SSS) set to die cut and stamp the lovely handwritten happy birthday sentiment. I added it to the card front and called it good! Now, for some giveaway information!
To celebrate the blog hop, Waffle Flower is giving away $25 gift certificates to THREE lucky winners. You can leave comment on my blog and along the hop by 11:59pm ET on 3/7/19 for your chances to win. Winners will be chosen at random from the comments left on any of the posts on this blog hop and will be announced on the Waffle Flower blog on 3/11/19.

What a beautiful card! The Bouquet Builder is gorgeous and I love the colors that you used! The white frame is so pretty!
Emily, this is my kind of bouquet! I like to go outside & pick a couple of one flower, a few of another & maybe one or two of a third kind & put them in a vase in a loose styled arrangement. (It’s because I don’t know how to actually arrange flowers properly. lol) Your colouring & shading is wonderful & I like the sentiment with the white on the black. Thanks so much!
This is stunning Emily!! I adore the Bouquet Builder stamp sets and this new #3 is no exception. Thank you for sharing this and for the inspiration, I can’t wait to get this set! (mardy14@bellsouth.net)
