Good morning! Today, I am thrilled to be hopping along with Pinkfresh Studio celebrating their 5th birthday! We have tons of inspiration, promotions, and prizes to help you celebrate with us! You should have arrived here from Elsie Robinson’s blog and your next stop is Adela’s Blog. My project features one of my most favorite products from Pinkfresh Studio: their liquid watercolors! These colors are so bright, and oh, so vibrant, but they can also be subtle and soft, so let’s get started with the details!
I began by die cutting and heat embossing the frame from Floral Frame onto some watercolor paper, then watercoloring the images with diluted version of the Lavender, Aquamarine, Sapphire, Emerald City, and Sky Blue Liquid Watercolors. I also taped a panel of watercolor paper down to a board and added an ombre of the same colors in an even more diluted form to create a very subtle background.
Next, I used the large letters in the Adore Alpha set to die cut some royal blue matte foil “hugs,” which I paired with the sentiment from Floral Frames (altered with some creative snipping!). I trimmed down the watercolored background, then mounted it on an A2 panel of the same royal blue foil to create a pretty frame. I then mounted all of the die cut pieces on the watercolored background using foam tape.
The final touch was to add some jewels from Pretty Pink Posh to add some sparkle!!
