Christmas In July with Ellen Hutson+GIVEAWAY+SALE!!

Hi there! I’m back today with another post, this time with a holiday twist! The fabulous ladies at Ellen Hutson are having a Christmas in July sale, and what better way than to celebrate with a blog hop chock full of holiday inspiration to jumpstart your Christmas crafting? You should have arrived here from Therese Calvird’s blog, and your next stop is Laurel Beard’s blog. The Essentials By Ellen line has so many different styles and products to fit your creative holiday needs, and for today’s project, I’ve used the super cute Shopper Lady stamp set, which I’ve paired with the Ugly Christmas Sweater small add-on set to create this festive holiday card. Let’s get started with all of the details!

I began by stamping the Holiday Shopper Lady, along with several gifts and her Santa hat, using Intense Black ink on Neenah Solar White card stock, adding her sweater embellishment from the Ugly Sweater Accessories stamp set. I then colored the images in with my Copic markers with a bright kelly green, cool red, and white color scheme to keep things clean, simple, and totally Christmassy. I die cut the images using the coordinating dies.

After I’d finished all of my images, I die cut the Scallops die from the center of my white A2 panel and backed it with some red glitter paper to add some sparkle. I stamped a custom sentiment using the Concord and 9th Perfectly Penned stamp set. I always forget about using my alphabet sets to create unique greetings, thinking that they will take too long to line up and make straight… but this set, with it’s hand-drawn look, doesn’t have to be perfectly straight, and I was able to whip this cute sentiment up in about 2 minutes!

After I’d created my sentiment, I adhered the festive lady and her gifts to the card front using foam adhesive.

Well, that’s all for my project today. To celebrate this fun Christmas In July blog hop, the Ellen Hutson store is giving away one $25 gift certificate to a lucky commenter! Leave comments on the blog hop stops to be entered. The more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win! Comment before Wednesday, July 31st at 11:59pm PST. Winners will be notified by email.

Now, Ellen Hutson is also running a fantastic Christmas in July sale from July 26-28th. Everything in the Christmas In July category is 25% off using the code xmas2019. Shop early for the best selection! (Psst-there are new Hero Arts and Waffleflower holiday products in there! Plus a plethora of older products, both holiday and non-holiday. Don’t wait to check it out!)

Your next stop on the hop is Laurel Beard. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!

What a fun scene! The little scallops in the background are a great idea, and I thought the sentiment was a stamp–so cool that you did it with an alphabet set.
