Stamptember with Honey Bee Stamps!

Hi there! Popping in this evening to share with you today’s collaboration stamp set for Simon Says Stamp’s Stamptember celebration! Today’s stamp set was designed by one of my favorite crafty ladies: Melissa from Honey Bee Stamps! She designed an absolutely stunning floral set called Fall Beauty that was seriously just a blast to color! I can think of so many super fun techniques you can do with this set… but I was short on time today, so a quick Copic-colored card was the end result!! Let’s get started with the details!

I began by stamping the main floral image from Fall Beauty using Intense Black ink on some white, Copic-friendly cardstock, then used my Copic markers in some intense shades of magenta and plum to create this super vibrant mum bouquet.

Next, I blended some Dark Quartz and Raspberry Jam inks on the bottom corner of the colored panel using blending brushes. I love the almost “halo” effect this creates around the colored image. So pretty!

After I’d finished blending, I mounted the rectangular colored panel on a piece of Plum cardstock and added a greeting that I’d white embossed on some strips of black cardstock, which I mounted on the card front using foam adhesive. A few jewels finished the project off!

Well, that’s all for this super quick post today! I hope you’re enjoying all of the Stamptember fun…. so exciting to see the new sets that are revealed each day! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous weekend!
