Hi there! Today, the ladies over at Honey Bee Stamps (and some awesome guests!) are celebrating the massive and utterly fabulous holiday release with a two day blog hop! You should have arrived here from Brenda Noelke and your next stop is Caly Person. I have two projects for you today, so let’s get started with the details!
For my first project, I used the new Everything Wonderful stamp set. I am particularly excited and proud of this stamp set, because I designed and drew by hand the floral bouquet! It is an honor to work for a company that supports it’s designers in so many ways, and I am so very lucky!!
I stamped the large floral image from Everything Wonderful using some very pale ink onto some Copic-friendly white cardstock. I then used Copic markers to do some no-line coloring in a variety of pretty pinks, peaches, and purples to create a colorful bouquet. I die cut the image with the coordinating Honey Cuts dies.
For the card base, I die cut a Scalloped A2 Rectangle from some more white cardstock, then adhered it to a white A2 card front using foam adhesive. I glued the floral bouquet down to the scalloped rectangle, then added a greeting from the Friendship stamps and coordinating word dies.
For my second project, I used the Stocking Gift Card Holder Honey Cuts to create this fun, glittery gift card holder! I began by die cutting the components from some glittery red cardstock and some plain white cardstock, adhering everything together with liquid adhesive.
I stamped a greeting from Santa Express on the top of the Stocking Topper. (The sentiment sets in this release are absolutely amazing. Truly…. some of the best holiday sentiments that I’ve ever seen.) I also added a little something extra by die cutting a poinsettia and some holly leaves from the Winter Bouquet Honey Cuts set. Super cute way to package up a gift card, don’t you think?
