Now, on to my project for today! I added lots of color to the die cuts using some ink blending and blending brushes. Let’s get started with the details!
I started by die cutting the bouquet wrap and a big bunch of the flowers from plain white cardstock. I then used blending brushes to add color to the die cuts with Green Apple, Stonewash, Bubble Gum, Butter Bar, Soft Lilac, and Dusty Blue inks. I love how it adds subtle yet vibrant color to the die cuts!
For the card base, I stamped the Hero Florals Color Me Cling stamp using Dusty Blue ink, then blended Dusty Blue and Soft Lilac inks around the edge of the A2 panel to soften the stamped background.
I arranged all of the die cuts in a nice, full bouquet on the blended card front, adhered them to the card front using foam tape, and added one of the super versatile sentiments from the main kit. The final touch was to add a few gems for some sparkle!
