Hi there! Today, Hero Arts is officially releasing their Spring 2020 Catalog, and it’s chock full of beautiful images and fantastic new dies! (And can I just say how excited I am for the super classy new black Hero Arts MISTIs that are going to be released very soon?! Be sure to sign up for notifications for when they come in stock!) I have two projects to share with you today, so let’s get started with the details!
For my first project, I used the brand new Hero Florals Tulips and Oval Woodgrain Frames Infinity Dies to create an ultra-springy project. I began by stamping the Hero Florals Tulips flowers and butterfly using Intens-ified Black ink on some Copic-friendly white cardstock, then colored the images using some colorful pink and yellow Copic markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating Tulips Dies.
Next, I die cut the Oval Woodgrain Frames Infinity Dies from some more white cardstock. I blended a bit of Bubble Gum ink in the center of a white A2 panel using blending brushes. I then adhered the white frame in the center and arranged the tulips, adhering all of the die cuts using foam adhesive. Finally, I added a greeting from Hero Florals Tulips on a strip of white cardstock, flagging the ends.
For my second project, I used the new Bookcase Peek-A-Boo stamp set to create this colorful pink card, complete with kitty and bibliophile mouse! I began by stamping the main bookcase image, kitty, and little mouse using Intens-ified Black ink on some Copic-friendly white cardstock. I then used my Copic markers to color the books using various shades of pink and fuchsia.
Next, I die cut a little black frame using the new Square Infinity Dies and added it to the card front using foam adhesive. I stamped the greeting from Bookcase Peek-A-Boo and added it and the cute little animals using foam adhesive. I just adore the amount of detail that is included in this stamp set!
