Due to some technical difficulties, this blog post was not quite right the first time it went out. Apologies for the double email!
Hi friends! I have a few projects to share for Altenew’s July Stamp and Die release. As per usual, Altenew has some absolutely stunning floral stamps and some super fun new dies available for purchase right now! I have two cards and a tag project to share with you today, so let’s get started with the details!

For all three projects today, I maintained a pretty rose gold/peach/gray color scheme. Every once in awhile, I like to switch things up and use a monochromatic color scheme with unusual colors for the foliage. I love using gray for foliage, particularly… such an interesting combination!

For my first project, I focused on the new Floral In’ N’ Out Border Die. I die cut it from some crisp white cardstock, then backed it with some beautiful matte rose gold foil cardstock from Tonic. The contrast between the two textures really helps to make the details on this gorgeous die stand out!

I stamped the greeting from the new Mega Label Love on some more white cardstock using Moon Rock ink. The Moon Rock is a nice warm medium gray, a lovely complement to the warmth of the rose gold foil. I trimmed the labels with my trimmer, then adhered them to the card front using foam adhesive for extra dimension. I added a few rose gold gems to add some more sparkle and texture to the project.

For my second project, I wanted to create a matching tag using the Terrific Tags die set and the Floral In’ N’ Out Border Die. I began by die cutting a white tag and rose gold tag using the same tag die, then placed the Floral In’ N’ Out Border Die along the bottom of the white tag and ran it through my die cutting machine again, creating a lacy edge to the bottom of my tag.

I adhered the two tags together using liquid glue and added a greeting from the Sentiment Strips 2, stamped again in Moon Rock ink on white cardstock. A peachy twine bow and loop finished it off!

For my last project today, I used the absolutely gorgeous new Courageous You to do some no-line coloring with my Copic markers. I just love these new large-scale florals that Altenew has been releasing lately… SO much fun to color! I began by stamping the image from Courageous You on some white cardstock using Ink On 3’s Fadeout no-line coloring ink, then in keeping with my color theme throughout today’s projects, used my Copic markers to color these pretty peachy blooms and warm gray foliage.

After I’d finished coloring the main image, I stamped a greeting from Courageous You, again in Moon Rock ink, then framed it using the Fine Frames Squares die cut three times from white cardstock and adhered together to create a dimensional die cut. The final touch was to add some more rose gold gems for some sparkle!
Well, that’s all for my projects today. I hope you’ll check out the latest goodies from Altenew… they’re amazing, as usual! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!
