Altenew Twinkle and Shine Release Blog Hop+Giveaway!

Good morning, friends! Today, Altenew is releasing another great round of gorgeous products, and I’m super excited to be a stop on the hop! You should have arrived here from Amanda Baldwin and your next stop is Kymona Tracey. You can also head back to the Altenew Card Blog in case you get lost! I have two pretty-in-purple projects for you today, so let’s get started with the details!

For today’s projects, I kept things a little simpler, with just some simple stamping using the Shades of Purple inks for both. I used the new Pen Sketched Silhouettes for my first project along with the new Fine Liner Pen set.

I began by stamping several of the beautiful floral swags from the new Pen Sketched Silhouettes stamp set using the medium purple from Shades of Purple onto a white panel of A2 cardstock. I also stamped another few sprigs and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

To soften the background panel and make the die cut flowers stand out a bit more, I placed a panel of vellum over the top, adhering my die cut flowers to the vellum. I also used the Fine Liner Pen to do some loose sketching to add definition to the floral silhouettes. I added a sentiment from Pen Sketched Silhouettes that I heat embossed in silver on a strip of white cardstock. The final touch was a few lavender gems to add some sparkle!

For my second project, I used the new Striped Circle stamp set to create a simple and super quick background panel. I used the new Sparkled stamps and dies with the Shades of Purple inks to stamp this lovely detailed bloom.

I arranged the Sparkled die cuts on the striped card front and added a greeting using a slightly darker purple ink. I added some gems for some sparkle and texture!

As usual, Altenew has several giveaways to celebrate their latest release.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 3 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog by 11/10/2020 for a chance to win.

Altenew will also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew Winners Page on 11/12/2020.

Your next stop is Kymona Tracey. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!
