Hi there! Today, I’m excited to be hopping along with Altenew for the release of this month’s Build A Flower stamp set: Parrot Tulip. You should have arrived here from Norine Borys, and your next stop is Nathalie DeSousa. (You can also start back at the Altenew Card Blog for the full hop list.) These gorgeous, fluffy, ruffly tulips are totally unique and so very beautiful, and of course the layering in these stamps is super easy and creates so much dimension! These Parrot Tulips are just one in a long line of gorgeous Build A Flower stamp sets. If you like floral layering stamps, I suggest you subscribe to this line of stamps so that you are first in line to receive them, and at a discount, too!
I love the combination of mustard with hot pink, so I’ve paired some muted mustard yellow blooms from BAF: Parrot Tulip with some smaller hot pink blooms from Flower Arrangement.

I stamped the images from Parrot Tulip and Flower Arrangement using Fall Harvest and Spring Bouquet inks, then die cut them out using the coordinating dies.

For the background, I die cut the Circle Quilt from some matte gold foil cardstock and adhered it to some dark charcoal cardstock. I also heat embossed a sentiment from the Parrot Tulip using gold embossing powder on a strip of charcoal cardstock.

I arranged the flowers in a full, springy bouquet on the patterned background using a mix of foam and liquid adhesive for lots of dimension, then added the sentiment strip over the top, finally adding a few gems for sparkle.
Well, that’s all for my project today! Such a pretty set, and would be gorgeous in a variety of springy colors! Now for some fun giveaway information:
$200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 1 lucky winner and a $15 gift certificate to 10 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 12/06/2020 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 11 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 12/09/2020.
