These beautiful stamps are such a fun addition to your floral collection. You can always subscribe to receive them automatically each month! I have a Copic-colored project for you today using some background color to create the white of the daisies, so let’s get started with the details!
I began by stamping the main image from African Daisy on some white cardstock using Obsidian Black Pigment ink, covered with clear embossing powder and heated. I wanted to have the main petals of the flowers remain white, so I used the images and colors around it to make the white pop! I colored the leaves a very deep shade of green and the centers a bright yellow. I fussy cut the finished image and turned my attention to the card base.
I wanted to create a bit of a glow behind the flowers, so I used blending brushes to add some Bamboo and Parrot inks on the corner of the white card base. I placed the daisy bouquet in the corner over the blending so that the blending made the white flowers pop, then trimmed the edge of the image off so that it was flush with the card base. I popped it up with some foam adhesive for extra dimension.
For the greeting, I used one of the sentiments included in the Paint A Flower: African Daisy set, white embossed on two strips of black cardstock and popped up with some more Instant Dimension Foam Tape. To complete the trifecta of black accents, I added some black gems for some extra shine!
