Amy Tangerine x Altenew Collaboration Stamps/Die/Inks Release Blog Hop + $300 Total giveaways!

Hi there! Today, Altenew is celebrating the release of their new collaborative line- Altenew x Amy Tangerine!! You should have arrived here from Agnieszka Malyszek and your next stop is Amy Tsuruta. Amy Tangerine’s distinctive graphic style is a beautiful addition to the Altenew lineup, and to make it even better, we have eleven new Fresh Ink colors to share! I have a super colorful project to share with you using the new Through the Rainbow product suite and several of the new Summer Dreams ink colors. Let’s get started with the details!

To start, I offset the rainbow stencils from the Through the Rainbow product suite to be oriented to the right side of my A2 card front using the Stamp Wheel from Altenew to hold my stencils firmly. I customized the colors of the rainbow from the traditional primary rainbow to fit my own personal taste a bit, blending the cool Tickled Pink, Be Grapeful, Ride the Wave, Easy Breezy, and Berry Cool inks to blend the rainbow. I then added some stamped details to the rainbow from the coordinating Through the Rainbow stamp set.

Around the edge of the card front, I lightly blended the beautiful Ride the Wave to create a bright blue sky, adding some “clouds” from the Through the Rainbow stamp set, stamping them once full strength and once partial strength (basically stamping once with full strength and stamping immediately again without reinking.) For the greeting, I heat embossed one of the greetings from the Through the Rainbow using silver embossing powder on some heavyweight vellum.

To accent the colorful images on this card, I trimmed a 1/4″ strip of the bottom portion of the card away, then tucked a strip of sparkly holographic silver cardstock behind the open strip to add some sparkle! I popped up the vellum greeting with some foam tape for a little extra height on the busy, colorful background.
