Hi friends! I am back today with another project featuring goodies from the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release (check it out HERE). I loved the gorgeous Elegant Rose Stencil set when it was first released, and so I was pleased as punch to see the new coordinating die that was just released! It’s super detailed, creating an intricate die cut… my favorite! I paired it with some beautifully soft Pawsitively Saturated Inks and crisp white cardstock to create this clean card. Let’s get started with the details!

To begin, I placed a panel of white A2 cardstock on my stencil station (a Simon Says Stamp Magnetic Glass Mat paired with a Craft Tacky Mat) and blended Pawsitively Saturated Inks in shades of Jade, Eucalyptus, Juniper and the new Ballerina, Fairy, Plum with the previously-released Elegant Rose Stencil. The stencil station holds everything in place easily while doing my blending! Once I had finished all of the blending, I used the new Elegant Rose Coordinating Die to die cut the finished rose image lickety split! No more fussy cutting for this set!
To match the feminine color palette that I’d chosen, I pulled out the Lacy Point Frames and die cut a pretty, almost doily-esque panel. I arranged the stenciled floral die cut on my horizontal A2 card front, trimming off any extra that was hanging off of the side, and added some foam adhesive to adhere the large rose blooms to the card. I tucked the Lacy Point Frame die cut behind the flower, again adhering with thin foam adhesive squares. The foam adhesive gives the white-on-white a bit more visibility and texture!
For the greeting, I die cut the Birthday EZ Strips sentiment cards using the EZ Strips Banners die (which is sold out at the moment, but you can sign up to be notified as soon as it’s back in stock!). I selected two sentiment strips and adhered them to the card front with another layer of foam adhesive squares, creating a double layer so that those happy sentiments were extra visible. Finally, I added a few Lilac Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for a touch of sparkle!
