STAMPtember Collaboration 9/10/25: Altenew!

Hi friends! I am so excited to be sharing some inspiration using the new Simon Says Stamp/Altenew STAMPtember collaboration set called Joyful Bouquet!  Altenew has long been one of my favorite crafty companies, with their gorgeous blooms and innovative products, and I always look forward to their beautiful, limited edition STAMPtember sets each year. I used some vibrant colors for today’s project, pairing these vivid blooms with a muted olive green background in order to allow those gorgeous florals to pop off from the drab backdrop. Let’s get started on the details for my project!

If you are new to STAMPtember from Simon Says Stamp, throughout the month of September, Simon Says Stamp will have exclusive collaborations with some of our favorite stamping companies, releasing a limited edition stamp set designed in collaboration with a different company nearly every day! (Click HERE to see the Collaboration Sets page, and be sure to bookmark it!)

To begin, I stamped the large floral bouquet from the Joyful Bouquet STAMPtember Altenew Collaboration set twice on white cardstock using black alcohol marker-friendly ink. I then used OLO Markers to color the images, selecting a vibrant autumnal color palette that would pop nicely from the somewhat drab olive green cardstock background. The pink and orange flowers ended up being a bit too bright, more like summer blooms rather than autumnal, so I used a pale purple marker to “glaze” the images, almost dulling the colors to make them less vivid. After die cutting the images with their coordinating dies, I used a coordinating olive green marker to edge the white die cuts, creating a smooth transition between the vibrant die cuts and the green background.

After I had completed the coloring, I splattered some rose gold metallic watercolors on the A2 panel of olive green cardstock, adding some additional texture and shimmer behind the flowers. Once the splatters had dried, I popped up the floral die cuts on the card front using foam adhesive, snipping off the edges hanging over the card front to create a clean rectangle.

For the greeting, I heat embossed the “thinking of you” and “sending love” sentiments onto another panel of the same green cardstock using Simon Says Stamp White Pigment Ink, then covered it with Hero Arts Iridescent Copper embossing powder. The opaque stamping helps make the embossed letters stand out a bit more on the deep green cardstock! I die cut the sentiments with their coordinating dies, then popped them up on the card front with a double layer of foam adhesive squares to give them extra visibility. Finally, I added a few Mandarin Pawsitively Dazzling Gemsfor additional shimmer and shine.

Well, that’s all for my project today! If you love the STAMPtember Collaboration Sets, don’t wait to purchase them, because these limited edition sets will NOT be restocked. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! (Click HERE to see the Collaboration Sets page, and be sure to bookmark it!) Each day holds new surprises, so be sure to check out the Simon Says Stamp social media at noon ET every day throughout STAMPtember so that you don’t miss out. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and happy STAMPtember!!!

This is beautiful! Love how your colors turned out. The olive green edging on the die cuts was an exceptional idea… it really gives a lovely, softened autumn feel.
