Hi friends! I hope you’re all having a wonderful Thanksgiving if you’re in the US. I have had a nice day with my husband’s family, of course eating lots of tasty food! I just wanted to pop in quickly while my kiddos are all sacked out on the floor in front of the fireplace to share a festive holiday project and a fabulous sale. Let’s get started with the details!

To start my Christmas card, I die cut the new Poinsettia Cover die from some plain white cardstock. I removed the individual poinsettia petals and foliage, then used my OLO Markers to add some vibrant red and green. I made sure to note which direction the petals would be placed when I put the die cuts back together so that I could add extra intensity to the shadows in the center of the flowers. I also added some extra shimmer to the center of the poinsettia blooms with some gold paint pen!
I adhered the negative rectangular die cut to the center of an A2 white card front using liquid adhesive, creating thin frame around the patterned background. I then used Thin Foam Adhesive Squares to add the petals and foliage back to the appropriate spots on the die cut. The foam adhesive gives the main focal point images a touch of height!
For the greeting, I die cut one of the sentiments from the Angel Wings dies set, cutting the detail layer from sparkling platinum glitter cardstock and the shadow layer from more crisp white cardstock. I adhered the two layers together with liquid adhesive, then added some thick foam adhesive to the back to add extra height. I placed the sentiment in the center of the card front, then tucked a pretty red twine bow beneath the sentiment and added a few Cherry Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for added sparkle!
