Hi friends! I am back with another new project featuring gorgeous products from the latest Simon Says Stamp release! (Check out the full Beautiful Moments release HERE!). The Beautiful Moments release is filled with extraordinarily lovely springtime products, from stamps and dies to stencils and embossing folders. Whenever I receive the new release, I always begin the creative process by pulling out products that are immediate favorites, and the new Flower Frame embossing folder was definitely in that first batch! My wedding flowers were blue hydrangeas and white roses, and this gorgeous floral frame absolutely reminded me of a lush bouquet of hydrangeas. Let’s get started with the details on my project!

To begin, I blended Pawsitively Saturated Ink Trio 33 (made up of Periwinkle, Clematis, and Crocus inks) in an ombré on a panel of white A2 cardstock. I blended first before embossing, because I wanted to ensure that the colors were smooth and evenly distributed throughout the entire panel, which would have been difficult if I had blended after embossing. The ink gets a bit more condensed in some areas on an embossed panel, so the order of blending and embossing is important! Once I had finished blending, I embossed the panel using the Flower Frame embossing folder, then placed my Simon Says Stamp White Pigment Ink Pad directly on the raised embossed areas and swiped, enhancing the beautifully detailed pattern of the embossed image.

After I had created the background, I did some die cutting. To further coordinate with the inked white blooms, I die cut the detail layer of the new Beautiful Friend die, as well as the Double Loop Bow, from some white specialty cardstock. When I have created a matte background like the blended and embossed floral frame, I like to make the die cut accents extra special with some shimmer and shine. I used white glitter cardstock for the sentiment die cut and iridescent white mirror cardstock for the pieces of the bow.

To enhance the generously-sized sentiment die cut, I used the EZ Strips Banners die to die cut one of the new Beautiful Friend EZ Strips sentiment panels, cutting a multitude of sentiments with one pass through my die cutting machine! I kept the card design relatively simple, popping up the die cut pieces on the embossed background with thin foam adhesive, finally adding some Opal Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for one last touch of sparkling white!

Well, that’s all for my project today. If you would like to see more inspiration using the Beautiful Moments release, Day 2 of the two-day blog hop is happening right now! Check out the Simon Says Stamp blog for all of the info. Not only is it filled with beautiful inspiration projects, there are prizes and freebies to be had, as well! You can check out my project from Day 1’s hop HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!

Masculine Encouragement Card with Simon Says Stamp!

February 24, 2026

This post was sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon! *I have gathered links to all of the products used at the bottom of the post for your convenience, using affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Thank you for shopping with my links! I truly appreciate your support for my work!*

Hi friends! Do you ever have days where you want to be creative, but just aren’t sure where to start? I had one of those days recently, and so I started organizing my stamp bins. They’ve been a bit of a mess over the last few months, and so I pulled them all out and started tidying. While I was tidying, my creativity was sparked, refreshing my mental catalog of products and pairing up stamps, dies, and embossing folders for new projects! I always enjoy “technique-y” cards, especially with embossing folders. I used the newer Cedar Sprigs embossing folder with some fun inky techniques to create this masculine encouragement card. Let’s get started with the details!

To begin, I ran a panel of white A2 cardstock through my die cutting machine using the Cedar Sprigs embossing folder. I then flipped the panel over so that the debossed side was facing up, with the patterns debossed down into the cardstock rather than the raised texture of embossing. To create my ink-swiped background, I used a blending brush to blend CabbagePawsitively Saturated Ink over the sprigs of greenery that were debossed into the cardstock, not worrying about any ink spilling over into the solid areas. Luckily, the second step covers up any over-blending; I placed the Kale ink pad directly onto the debossed panel and swiped over the solid, raised areas. The result is a lovely, multicolored patterned paper that is full of texture! To add even more interest to this panel, I used a paintbrush to splatter some Simon Says Stamp Gold Splatter Medium. I love the mixed-media feel this additional step adds to the card.

Next, I used two coordinating shades of green cardstock to die cut the Curled Fern Frond die set. When working with a single die set, I like to layer multiples of the same die in different colors to make a lush and full “bouquet,” creating a pretty focal point for my card front.

For the greeting, I heat embossed a chunky sentiment and coordinating sentiment strip from the oldie-but-goodie Well Wishes stamp set, using Platinum embossing powder on coordinating deep green cardstock. I used my trimmer to cut down the sentiment strip and the coordinating die for the chunky sentiment. I adhered the sentiment pieces to the card front with foam adhesive squares, then tucked the greenery behind the sentiment, adhering each piece with liquid adhesive. Finally, I added a double twine bow and some Gold Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for even more texture. I think this makes a perfect masculine encouragement card!

Well, that’s all for my project today! If you struggle with masculine cards like I do, hopefully this gives you some inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!

Jewelry for Valentine’s Day with New Simon Says Stamp!

February 13, 2026

This post was sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon! *I have gathered links to all of the products used at the bottom of the post for your convenience, using affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Thank you for shopping with my links! I truly appreciate your support for my work!*

Hi friends! I have one last Valentine’s Day project to share with you using some new goodies from the Heart to Heart Release from Simon Says Stamp (click HERE to check out the entire release!). I love that Simon is coming out with so many coordinating stencils to go with their stamp sets, making it easy peasy to add color, shadows, and shape to stamped line art. I used the new Locket of Love product suite as the starting point for today’s project, and I am so happy with how it turned out. Let’s get started on the details!

To begin, I stamped and silver embossed one of the large locket images, chain, and sentiment from Locket of Love using silver embossing powder. I have a beautiful little locket with similar floral engravings on it that was given to me by my grandparents and so decided to create a silver locket rather than a gold one in honor of their gift to me from many years ago. I used a blending brush with the coordinating Locket of Love Stencils to blend Shark Pawsitively Saturated Ink on the chain and locket images, then added some details with a silver sparkle brush pen and a white gel pen, adding shimmer and shine to the image! I also used a gray alcohol marker to add a bit of additional shape to the round spheres on the chain, which when combined with the curved dashes of white gel pen, make it look so realistic!

For the background, I wanted something frilly and feminine, and the Bundled Swag Embossing Folder provided the perfect, over the top texture! It reminds me of those vintage piped buttercream cakes that are all the rage on Instagram right now. I embossed a panel of silver mirror cardstock, which highlighted those intricate embossed details to perfection. If you want to really pick up the details on an intricate embossing folder, I highly recommend using specialty coated cardstock. Pearlescent, mirror, and brushed foil cardstock works beautifully with those intricate embossing folders! I trimmed the long sides, then mounted the embossed panel in the center of a white A2 card front using strong double sided tape.

To enhance the silver embossed sentiment that I had created using the Locket of Love set, I die cut the new Fancy Hey, Girl, cutting a solid white shadow piece as well as nestling the shadow and detail dies together on a piece of silver glitter cardstock. I used the silvery glitter negative space to add additional texture to the card front while still making the crisp white sentiment visible amongst all of the silver and gray images. I had initially planned to do a simple silver glitter “hey, girl” but was afraid that the words would get swallowed by all of the other silver elements on the card. By utilizing the negative space, I still was able to keep my color palette consistent and add additional texture to the card while also making that crisp white die cut sentiment pop from the monochromatic background. After I had adhered all of the die cuts to the card front using foam adhesive, I added a few Clear Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for additional sparkle!

Well, that’s all for my project today! How sweet would this be for a galentine’s party? The Locket of Love set is such a unique stamp set; perfect for Valentine’s Day and beyond! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and happy love day!

Sparkling Red Valentine’s Day with New Simon Says Stamp!

January 15, 2026

This post was sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon!

Hi friends! I am back with more inspiration using the new Heart to Heart Release  from Simon Says Stamp (click HERE to check out the entire release!), this time to create a color saturated red card filled with exquisite scrolling details and lots of sparkle. I don’t really use red much throughout the rest of the year, but Christmas and Valentine’s Day projects are just not the same without a pop of red, right? Well, I took that “pop” and raised it to every. single. part. of this card. I love a good monochromatic moment, and this one definitely fits that bill! Let’s get started with the details!

*I have gathered links to all of the products used at the bottom of the post for your convenience, using affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Thank you for shopping with my links! I truly appreciate your support for my work!*

The new Heart Suite stamp set that was released during the Heart to Heart release is filled with so many different Valentine’s Day images, including these beautiful scrolled hearts. The detail on these heart images (which are meant to be used to create the playing cards in the stamp set, but work beautifully on their own!) is spectacular; they work so well as focal points or as accents. I paired them with some gorgeous red glitter embossing powder, embossing them on Lipstick Red cardstock, then die cutting the hearts with their coordinating dies. Aren’t they beautiful? I wish you could see the sparkle in real life, because it’s stunning!

Behind the glittering hearts, I used the new Wirework Hearts Embossing Folder to emboss another panel of the Lipstick Red cardstock. This folder is so delicately detailed, and to enhance that detail, I swiped the Sangria Pawsitively Saturated Ink pad over the raised areas, darkening the raised details! I also splattered some red glitter watercolors on the background to add extra shimmer and texture. Once it was dried, I trimmed the edges 1/4″ on each side, then mounted it in the center of a panel of Rich Red Metallic cardstock so that the textured background was framed with red foil, adding to the luxurious feel of the card.

For the greeting, I heat embossed two sentiment strips and the large “love” from Heart Suite, stamping with white pigment ink and embossing with white embossing powder on Lipstick Red cardstock. I trimmed the strips with my trimmer, then die cut the sentiment with the coordinating die. I popped up the sentiment pieces with thick foam adhesive squares, then used thin foam adhesive squares to tuck the hearts around the sentiment, creating a visual cascade down the card front and adding lots of varied heights and textures! Finally, I added a few Opal Pawsitively Dazzling Gems to coordinate with the white sentiment strips and for one more touch of sparkle!

Well, that’s all for my project today! Valentine’s Day is a mere month away, so it’s definitely time to get cracking. We could all use a little more love in the world, don’t you think? Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous day!

Simple and Elegant Christmas Card with New DieCember from Simon Says Stamp!

December 17, 2025

This post was sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon!

Hi friends! I am back with another Christmas card featuring new goodies from Simon Says Stamp’s DieCember release, this time with a super simple, but still very elegant and classy, holiday card! I think the effect of 3D embossing folders on metallic coated cardstock is absolute magic, and I thought I’d take advantage of that with the stunning new Dazzle Snowflake embossing folder and die combo! I created this easily mass-produced project that is perfect for last minute holiday cards. Let’s get started with the details!

*I have gathered links to all of the products used at the bottom of the post for your convenience, using affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Thank you for shopping with my links! I truly appreciate your support for my work!*

To begin, I die cut the included die from the new Dazzle Snowflake embossing folder and die set using Simon Says Stamp Metallic Rose cardstock. This foil cardstock has the most exquisite shine and it picks up those intricate details on the embossing folders to utter perfection. When working with cut and emboss products, I like to die cut the image first, then run it through my die cutting machine in order to preserve those beautifully impressed details. Embossing first then die cutting would flatten the embossed impression. I love that the new Dazzle Snowflake die is so very intricate, as well; it truly deserves to be a focal point as I’ve used it today!

Behind the snowflake die cut, I used a blending brush to blend Shell Pawsitively Saturated Ink in the center of a pale blush A2 card front, then splattered some coordinating metallic rose gold watercolors over the card front to add extra texture and create a “snowy background” aesthetic.

For the greeting, I heat embossed one of the simple sentiments from Tree Plate Greetings on a thick strip of the same blush cardstock using rose gold embossing powder, then used my sharp scissors to notch the ends. I popped up the snowflake and the sentiment strip with foam adhesive, then finished the project off with some gorgeous Peachy Pawsitively Dazzling Gems on the snowflake. I love adding those sparkling details to a simple holiday card! It makes it so much more festive to my eyes!

Well, that’s all for my project today! This would be a great way to crank out lots of holiday cards at the last minute if you’re, ahem, a bit behind. (Not that I would know anything about that as I’m rushing around trying to get everything done! Ha!) It would look beautiful in lots of different color palettes. Easy to mass produce and fairly simple to mail, especially if you forego the gem embellishments. Are you all ready for the big day? I’m definitely not! Good luck if you’re in the same boat!! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and happy holidays!
