Hi there! Popping in quickly from vacation with all of my little peoples and big redhead for the Altenew Build A Flower: Bearded Iris blog hop! You should have arrived here from Jenny Colacicco, and your next stop is Amanda Baldwin. (You can also start back at the beginning at the Altenew Blog if you get lost.)

I love that Altenew gives you the option to use the layered stamps or take some time to do some coloring. You can always subscribe to the Build A Flower series to receive the sets each month at a discounted rate! Let’s get started on the details!

I began by stamping the Bearded Iris flowers using the layering stamps from the Altenew Build A Flower: Bearded Iris set onto some white cardstock using Wisteria, Hydrangea, Persian Blue, Sapphire, Minty Mint, Sweet Leaf, and Just Green inks. I used the coordinating dies to cut all of the stamped pieces out.

On the card base, I blended both Wisteria and Persian Blue inks in the center of the A2 card front, as well as some Persian Blue ink around the outer edge of the card base to create a bit of a halo. I trimmed a rectangle of lavender cardstock down to the same width as the card front, then arranged my stamped Bearded Irises so that they were “growing” out of the cardstock rectangle. I adhered all of the components using foam adhesive.

Finally, I added a cornflower blue hello from the newly released All About You word dies and some iridescent blue gems.
Well, that’s all for my project, now for some fun giveaway information!
$200 in total prizes! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 07/07/2021 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 7 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 07/09/2021.
Your next stop is Amanda Baldwin. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!
