Hi there! I have another post using some fun new products from Spellbinders: the Truly Yours collection features some beautiful, classic images that can be super versatile for so many different styles. I have two projects for you today, so let’s get started with the details!

There’s something so classy about pairing turquoise with black and white. The bright blue contrasts so perfectly with the crisp black and white. For both projects, I used some bright Island Blue cardstock as the base for the images on my cards.

My first card features the Cameo Etched Dies from the Spellbinders Truly Yours collection. I die cut the cameo and laurel wreath from some black cardstock I adhered them to the Island Blue cardstock, liquid adhesive for the laurel wreath and foam adhesive for the cameo. I also die cut several white flowers and foliage (included in the Cameo Etched Dies).

I heat embossed a greeting from the June Stamp of the Month on a small rectangle of black cardstock, then added it to the base of the laurel wreath. I adhered the white flowers and foliage in a cluster around the sentiment, using liquid and foam adhesive for lots of dimension. Finally, I added some shiny metallic silver gems to the flower centers for a bit of sparkle!

For my next card, I used the Ellipticals Ovals to create the spotlight for my sentiment. I began by white heat embossing the main floral image (which I illustrated!) from Miss Your Smile on an A2 panel of Island Blue cardstock. I love how the crisp white embossing powder contrasts with the bright blue cardstock! To add even further contrast, I blended some Seaside ink along the opposite edge of the blue panel to add some extra interest to the card base.

I die cut the Ellipticals Ovals from some black cardstock, then white heat embossed the greeting (also from Miss Your Smile). I adhered it to the blended floral card base using foam adhesive, then added a few more metallic silver gems to add some texture and sparkle to the card.
Well, that’s all for today’s projects! Relatively simple cards, but you don’t need a whole lot of extra fussiness when you have some great standalone dies like those in the Truly Yours collection and some pretty colored cardstock. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!
