Hi there! Altenew has another knock-your-socks off Craft Your Life Project Kit this month, called Elegant Motifs! You should have arrived here from Tenia Nelson, and your next stop is Mindy Eggen. You can also start back at the beginning at the Altenew Card Blog if you get lost! These Craft Your Life kits are absolutely chock full of product, and I particularly love that each product coordinates with the others beautifully, but they can also be used just as easily as standalone products or combined with other products! Here’s a peek at this month’s kit:

This kit features a large 6×8 stamp set, coordinating dies, layering stencils and masks, and a gorgeous full-size slimline 3D embossing folder. So much great product that you can use again and again with so many unique possibilities and combinations! These kits are absolutely fabulous and sell out quickly, so if you want to be guaranteed a kit of your own each month (and at a discount!), be sure to subscribe! I couldn’t resist coloring these one of the beautiful little floral nosegays for today’s project, so let’s get started with the details!

I began by stamping one of the images from the Elegant Motifs stamp set using black ink, then used colored pencils to color the image a vivid pink. I die cut the image with the coordinating die, included in the kit.

I wanted to use the slimline 3D embossing folder without creating a full size slimline card, so I trimmed a 3″x5.5″ panel of white cardstock down, centered it over the design in the slimline 3D embossing folder, and ran it through my die cut machine to create a textured panel for the center of my card front. I cut some slim strips of black glitter cardstock and adhered them to the back of the embossed panel, just slightly peeking out from each side to create a glittering black mat. I adhered these pieces to the center of a deep pink, A2 card front using Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

Next, I die cut a few white branches of foliage using the Berries and Branches die set to help fill out the floral bouquet. I adhered the penciled flower to the card front, then added a black die cut “thanks” (cut using the Script Words 2 dies), as well as a “dear friend” stamped using a sentiment from the Elegant Motifs stamp set. Finally, I added a few shiny metallic gemstones for some sparkle!
Well, that’s all for my project today. Now for some fun giveaway information!
