Good morning! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is having the third release in their Essentials line, and I’m excited to help introduce some of the new products released today! We have a huge release full of super useful “essential” dies that are a necessity for your craft room! I have a project featuring the new Stitched Squares dies, so let’s get started with the details!
I’ve been doing a lot of traditional holiday colors lately, so for today’s post, I wanted to do something a bit brighter and spring-like. I began by stamping the main image from the Floral Cluster stamp set on an A2 panel of white cardstock. I then used my Copic markers to color the flowers and foliage in a pretty combination of hot pinks, lime green, and orange. I used a blender brush and Raspberry Bliss ink to add a hot pink halo around the edge of the colored panel.
After I’d finished coloring the base panel, I die cut a black frame using the new Stitched Squares dies and adhered it to the floral panel to create kind of a spotlight. I love how slim these new frames are! So delicate and pretty. I also added a greeting from the Essentials Classic Word Dies cut once from white cardstock and once from white glitter cardstock. I adhered it to the bottom corner of the black frame using liquid adhesive.
The final step was to add some sparkle with a few gems from the Essentials Jewels Mix!
