Hi friends! I got the opportunity to get inky this morning with the new Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of the Month for October 2026, called Homespun Gratitude! (Click HERE to see all of the details on the goodies in this kit!) Here’s a sneak peek of the contents:

Perfect for your fall creations, this kit is filled with all kinds of autumnal imagery as well as cardmaking essentials that will work for autumn and beyond. The individual contents of the kit retail for over $75, but you can get your own for only $44.99 while supplies last (click HERE) or $39.99 for kit subscribers! (Click HERE to see how to become a subscriber!) I have always loved pairing the typical fall colors with some non-autumn colors, and I think this card melds the autumn imagery and unique color palette nicely! Let’s get started with the details on my project.

The Homespun Gratitude card kit comes with a gorgeous embossing folder and, my favorite, some spectacular coppery foil cardstock. If you haven’t tried embossing folders with metallic cardstock you. are. missing. OUT! The effect is absolutely magical. I embossed an A2 panel of that metallic cardstock from the kit with the new Verdant Wreath embossing folder and trimmed off one long edge so that the wreath was spilling over the edge of the card front, then added a strip of glittery platinum cardstock and another strip of gorgeous teal cardstock, included with the kit, to create my full sized A2 card front!

To embellish my metallic wreath, I used White Pigment Ink to stamp several of the gorgeous autumn images from the Homespun Gratitude stamp set included with the kit onto a panel of the Creamsicle cardstock that was included with the Card Fronts cardstock set from the kit. I then used my colored pencils to add vibrant oranges, reds, and teals to the images, keeping the color palette from the card front that I created first as uniform as possible! I die cut the finished penciled images with their coordinating dies, which can be purchased as an add-on to the main kit.

After I had created the focal point images, I decided to pull in that gorgeous teal once more with my sentiment, stamping the greeting from Homespun Gratitude onto a Rainforest panel from the Card Fronts cardstock set from the kit using White Pigment Ink and adding white embossing powder over the top to make the sentiment really pop from the deep teal cardstock. I used the coordinating die to cut out the greeting, then began to arrange the images in a cluster towards the bottom of the wreath, overlapping the seams of the cardstock strips to keep everything as cohesive as possible. Finally, I added some of the shimmering Pawsitively Dazzling Gems included with the kit for one last touch of sparkle!

Well, that’s all for my project today!

The Simon Says Stamp Card Kits are such an incredible value; the value of the individual elements of each kit equals far more than the $44.99 price tag, so you’re getting incredible bang for your buck. If you are consistently interested in the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of the Month, you can sign up HERE to become a subscriber for an even bigger discount on these carefully curated products. As always, Simon also makes each individual element of the kits available a la carte, so that you can pick and choose what you would like to purchase if buying the entire kit isn’t really your thing. Options galore! Who can say no to such incredible value though, right?

Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous day!
