Hi there! Today is release day over at Ellen Hutson! We’ve been sneak peeking projects all week long, and today is the full reveal! Click here to see everything! We have a new Leading Lady for you, as well as some cutie little critters and an absolutely stunning new Mondo flower set. I created a project with each of these new sets today, so let’s get started with the details!

For my first project today, I created a little “counter” full of snacks for the Binge Watching Leading Lady’s culinary delight! I stamped the Leading Lady, her cute bunny slippers, and some snacks using Intense Black ink, then colored them with my Copic markers in a happy yellow, purple, and mint color combination. I die cut a frame from the Instant Photo Frames using some more white card stock, then stamped the greeting from Binge Watching Leading Lady using black ink.

For the card base, I added some black stripes on both edges of the A2 card base using Painted Stripes , then added a slightly smaller panel of white card stock over the top, just allowing a thin edge of striped panel to peek around the edges. I arranged my snacks and leading lady on the front, then adhered everything with foam tape and liquid adhesive. The final touch was a few Lemon Drop gems for a bit of sparkle!

Next up is a cute little project using the new Backyard Party stamps and dies. I thought these would be perfect to help increase my stash of little-boy-appropriate birthday cards, because what little boy doesn’t like critters and cake? I stamped several of the images included in Backyard Party using Intense Black ink, then colored them with my Copic markers.

I die cut a stitched oval from some heavyweight vellum as a ground for my little birthday party scene, as well as a thin strip of grass using Adriatic Card stock. I adhered the die cuts to the vellum oval, then strategically added foam adhesive behind the die cuts to help hide it. I trimmed down some cute patterned paper, then adhered the die cuts to the card front. The final step was to add a sentiment from Backyard Party that I heat embossed on some more Adriatic card stock. Super cute for a little boy’s birthday party, right?

For my final project, I couldn’t keep my hands off of the beautiful new Mondo Wildflower Bouquet stamp set. Seriously, the Mondo line is one of my favorites… ever… and this new set is so. darn. pretty. I began by creating my own patterned paper by stamping and heat embossing the bouquet several times on a panel of Arches Cold Press Watercolor paper, then watercoloring in a pretty springtime color palette using my Daniel Smith watercolors.

After the watercoloring was complete, I die cut “bloom” from some deep magenta shimmer card stock using The Stamp Market’s Skinny Upper Alphabet. I heat embossed the sentiment from Mondo Wildflower Bouquet on a panel of lavender card stock, then layered the sentiment on a strip of Charcoal card stock. The final touch was a few jewels for some sparkle!
Well, that’s all for my projects today! Be sure to check out the Ellen Hutson blog to get all of the details on this newest release and get all of the inspiration from the Design Ambassadors!
