Hi there! I was up on the Pinkfresh Studio blog today, and I thought I’d share the projects here, as well! I love searching Pinterest for unique color combinations as a jumpstart to my crafting, and I found a mood board with the most beautiful emerald and mauve color scheme that I just had to apply it to my Pinkfresh projects today! I used some brand new products, paired with some older products, to create my pair of cards for today. Let’s get started with the details!

I began by stamping a variety of beautiful blooms from the Lovely Blossoms stamp set in shades of pink, emerald, and turquoise, then die cut them using the coordinating dies. I also die cut the Hi from deep magenta pink card stock using the new Kelly Alpha Upper and Lower Case dies.

I die cut a panel of deep emerald green card stock using the Braided Circles dies and backed it with a panel of glittery white card stock. I used the same glittery card stock to back the letters for the greeting, creating two-tone letter die cuts. I adhered all of the die cuts to the card front using foam adhesive, then added a bit of sparkle to the card front using the Essentials Jewels Mix!

For my second card I used the same color scheme, but wanted to pull out my watercolors and play with the new Floral Vase stamp set! I began by stamping the main images from the Floral Vase stamp set on some watercolor paper, then heat embossed them with some silver embossing powder. I used my Daniel Smith watercolors to create a subtle mauve and pink bouquet of flowers. I also used the coordinating dies to cut the images out.

After I’d watercolored my images, I die cut an emerald green frame from the Pretty Frames 2 die set, reserving the outer few frames for a later project! I also die cut a “hugs” from the Kelly Alpha Lower die set from some pretty pink foil.

I arranged the die cuts on a panel of A2 woodgrain card stock using lots of foam tape. I also added a bit of sparkle with some gems from the Essentials Jewels Mix.
Well, that’s all for these projects today! I hope this inspires you to go check out Pinterest for some pretty color inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!
