Hi there! Today is the day…. the December My Monthly Hero Kit is finally available for purchase right now! You should have arrived here from Debi Adams, and your next stop is Ilina Crouse. This month’s kit is absolutely fantastic… so many individual elements that work beautifully separate AND together that celebrate Mother Earth and protecting it!

This month’s kit includes: a 6×8 clear stamp set, 18 coordinating frame cuts dies, Earth Palette Reactive Ink Pad, Green EcoGlitter 0.5 oz., and 5 Mini Brushes. The elements of this kit are valued at over $70, but they are yours for only $34.99! These kits frequently sell out ASAP, so don’t hesitate, because it might not be available when you finally make up your mind… once they’re gone, they’re gone! You can also subscribe and have a kit guaranteed for you each month.
I have two cards to share with you today, one using just the kit and another using one of the super fun add-ons! Let’s get started with the details!

I wanted to do something in a cheerful, springy color scheme, so I kept things in a pretty peach, pink, and aqua color palette! I began by stamping, die cutting, and Copic coloring a bunch of the floral images included in the main kit.

I stamped a greeting from the main kit on a square of Peony pink cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink. I trimmed down a panel of slightly smaller than A2 Arctic cardstock, then blended some Soft Pool ink on the bottom right corner using a blender brush for some subtle interest to the background.

I mounted the aqua panel on a full A2 panel of Pitch Black cardstock to create a crisp black mat around the edges, then mounted the die cuts and sentiment on the card front using both foam and liquid adhesive. The final touch was to add a few sparkling jewels!

For my second project, I paired the remainder of the floral die cuts from the main kit with the fun new World Window Fancy Die. I began by die cutting the World Window Fancy Die from the center of an A2 panel of Arctic cardstock. I then blended some Dark Quartz ink on an A2 panel of Peony cardstock approximately where the edges of the World Window cutout would be to create some extra dimension behind the window. I adhered the world die cut panel to the blended peachy-pink panel using liquid adhesive.

I stamped a greeting from the main kit using Intensified Black ink, then mounted the floral die cuts on the card front. I love how this one came out! The new World Window Fancy Die is super detailed and creates such a fun focal point!
