I’ve created two projects today, so let’s get started with the details! To start, I heat embossed both floral images from the new Paint A Flower Rose on some watercolor paper using copper embossing powder. I then used the beautiful new new Artists Watercolor Pan set to add color and shading to the images in a pretty pastel pink and coral color combination. I then fussy cut the images using my sharp scissors.

For my first project, I die cut an Ornate Cover Plate die from some shimmery white cardstock and layered it on a pale pink A2 card base. I also die cut a Handwritten Hello from some copper foil cardstock. I layered it on a strip of vellum.

I trimmed the large bouquet in half, then layered the pieces over the edge of the vellum and popped it up on the front of the cover plate card front, hiding the adhesive behind the Paint A Flower Rose pieces. I also added a few metallic rose gold gems to add a bit more sparkle!

For my second card, I used the watercolored posy as the focal point of the card front. I stamped a greeting from the Paint A Flower Rose on a strip of white cardstock. I also die cut a Creative Edges Lace die from some more copper colored foil. I used blending brushes to blend some Pinkalicious ink on the corners of a panel of pale pink A2 cardstock.

I layered all of the die cuts on the pale pink card base using liquid and foam adhesive, finally adding some more metallic rose gold gems to add some sparkle!
Well, that’s all for my projects today. Now, for some fun giveaway information!
