Ear-Resistibly Cute with New Simon Says Stamp + SALE!

Hi friends! Today, I have a fun and colorful shaker card to share with you using some new springtime goodies from the Simon Says Stamp Rain or Shine release! I can’t resist a shaker card, and the sweet little bunnies from the new Ear-Resistibly Cute stamp set were perfectly paired with the new Cottontail Embellishment Mix to create a sweet flat shaker card. Let’s get started with the details!

To start, I stamped two of the bunnies from the new Ear-Resistibly Cute stamp set using Rainbow Splash Black ink, which is compatible with alcohol markers. I used OLO Markers to color the bunnies, adding pink bows and bowtie to the bunnies along with some pink cheeks. How cute are they?! After I had finished coloring the images, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them, and I just love how detailed and closely cropped to the images the dies are.

To create the background, I pulled out the new Argyle Builder Stencil. Whenever I think of springtime and Easter fashion, pastel argyle immediately comes to mind in the form of sweater vests on my toddlers. I thought that the preppy bows and bowtie lent themselves perfectly to some argyle, completing the preppy imagery of the card! I blended the layered Argyle Builder Stencil with Butter, Rose, and Gingerbread Pawsitively Saturated Ink to create this sweet background pattern, then trimmed it down, then used some leftover stamp packaging and Tear-rifically Tacky Tape to create my clear shaker sleeve. I filled the shaker with Cottontail Embellishment Mix, which worked beautifully with the pale butter yellow on the argyle pattern.

I mounted the shaker panel to the center of a coordinating bright pink A2 card front, creating a bright pink frame around my focal point. I popped up the colored bunny die cuts and coordinating sentiment from Ear-Resistibly Cute with some thin foam adhesive squares, making the shaker card almost flat and thus much simpler to mail!
