Hi friends! Do you love hydrangeas as much as I do? I first saw them when my Grammy and Papa took my mom, my sister, and me on a trip from the land of corn to the Outer Banks, traveling off the beaten path to check out the scenery. We have white “snowballs” here, but the lush, vibrant colors and enormous balls of blooms that are the East Coast hydrangeas are something for which my eyeballs were unprepared. I fell so in love with them that we primarily used deep blue hydrangeas for our wedding floral arrangements 15+ years later, and now have (unsuccessfully) tried to grow them in our front yard. The new Gorgeous Hydrangea embossing folder, die, and stencil suite from the Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness release (click HERE to check out the entire release!) immediately was calling my name! I created not one, but two different projects with this plethora of crafty options, and today’s project features the embossing folder and layering stencils. Let’s get started with the details!

To begin, I ran an A2 panel of white cardstock through my die cutting machine using the marvelous new Gorgeous Hydrangea folder. The details on this massive bloom are exquisite, but the coordinating Gorgeous Hydrangea Stencils help those details jump off of your project so beautifully! I used Shading Brushes to blend Pawsitively Saturated Inks in shades of Guava, Periwinkle, Iris, Juniper, overlapping some of the colors multiple times to create that ethereal multicolored hydrangea “glow” that so enchanted me as a child.

After I had finished blending the stenciled images, I used the same shades of ink to blend around the outside of my card front, allowing those colors to illuminate not only the flower, but the scenery around it. Once I had finished blending the entirety of the card front, I dotted a silver paint pen in the individual flower centers and added some beautifully sparkling watercolor splatters around the edges.

For the greeting, I kept things simple using the Timeless Thanks die set, cutting the detail layer from some dazzling iridescent pink cardstock and backing it with a vellum die cut shadow layer. I popped those layers up with thin foam adhesive, floating the sentiment over the flower but still allowing those lovely details to shine through. I added a pale blue velvet bow around the stem and some Opal Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for a bit more sparkle!

Well, that’s all for my project today! I am just so in love with how this turned out…. it reminds me of a gorgeous OBX sunset. A little ink blending and some gorgeous floral texture does some marvelous work, don’t you think? Thank so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!

Wildflower Arch with New Simon Says Stamp!

Hi friends! I am back with another project featuring some gorgeous new floral dies from the Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness release (click HERE to check out the entire release!). Sometimes the scale of dies doesn’t quite work for things to work together, but these new florals work beautifully together. I chose to cut them all from white cardstock and use my OLO markers to add color to each piece, and I love the effect. Let’s get started with the details!

To begin, I die cut the new Wildflower Stem, Tissue Petal Stems, and Butterbloom Flowers dies from plain white cardstock. I then used my OLO Markers to color them in a gorgeous trio of peach, bubblegum, and mauve, taking care to add extra deep shadows on the die cuts that would be placed in the back of each flower to give a bit of extra dimension. Once I had colored all of the blooms, I assembled them with liquid and foam adhesive for lots of interest and dimension!

I wanted to create a simple frame around my blooms, so I die cut a new A2 Stitched Arches die from the center of an A2 panel of white cardstock. Behind the blooms, I needed a simple “sky” and a “meadow,” so I used Shading Brushes to blend Sky & Aspen Pawsitively Saturated Inks at the top and bottom of a new panel of white A2 cardstock, allowing the color to fade in the center so that they did not mix together. Once I had finished blending, I splattered the entire blended background with iridescent glitter watercolors for a bit of whimsy and shimmer!

For the greeting, I silver embossed a sentiment from the new Woodland Friends set and die cut it with it’s coordinating die. A simple, somewhat small sentiment nestles perfectly amongst my meadow of wildflowers! I popped up the arched frame on my blended panel with some thin foam adhesive, then arranged the blooms and foliage within the window, adhering the die cuts with both liquid and foam adhesive for maximum dimension. I tucked the greeting in a bare spot amongst the blooms, adhering it with a double layer of foam adhesive. Finally, I added some Opal Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for additional sparkle!

Well, that’s all for my project today! I just love when different products are scaled so perfectly that they work together seamlessly, like they were designed to do so! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!

Stenciled Twofer, Part Two: Floral Arch with Leftovers with New Simon Says Stamp!

August 3, 2026

Hi friends! I am back with part two of my Bellflower Blossoms twofer projects, creating two unique projects using one stenciled panel! My first project (check it out HERE) featured a shaker card using the negative space on the Bellflower Blossoms panel to create the shaker window, but for today’s card, I used the positive shadow die cut leftover to create the sentiment and jumpstart the color palette for my thanks card. Let’s get started with the details!

As with my previous card, I used the Bellflower Blossoms stencils with Pawsitively Saturated Inks in shades of Shell, Salmon, Coral, Eucalyptus. I used my Stencil Station to hold my cardstock firmly in place while stenciling. It makes something that I formerly viewed as somewhat fussy super simple and streamlined! I used the shadow layer of the new Opulent Thanks die set to cut from the bottom right corner of the A2 panel, then used the negative space to create my previous card. For today’s card, though, I used the leftover shadow die cut with a coppery foil detail die cut to create the sentiment focal point for my card!

To embellish my second card front, I used the colors from the stenciled panel as my guide to select Apricot and Sage Simon Says Stamp Cardstock and a deeper coral cardstock from my stash to cut each element from the Leafdance Flowers & Frame. I arranged the die cuts on a Seashell A2 card front, using a combination of liquid and foam adhesive to adhere the foliage and flowers to the pale peach card base. This partial cover plate die creates such a gorgeous backdrop for any number of subjects and color palettes! A must-have, in my opinion.

After I had securely adhered all of the flowers and foliage to the card base, I added more foam adhesive to the back of my Opulent Thanks die cut sentiment and added it to the card front, tucking the sentiment die cut amongst the flowers. Finally, I added some sparkling Peachy Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for added sparkle!

Well, that’s all for my peachy two-fer series. I just love being able to use all of the bits and bobs when I am creating! Figuring out unique ways to use all of the components is like a puzzle to me. So fun. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!

Stenciled Twofer, Part One: Coral Floral Thanks with New Simon Says Stamp!

July 30, 2026

Hi friends! Life with four kids is always a little crazy even when it’s relatively calm, and I am always on the lookout for ways to save myself some time when crafting. I love creating “twofer” projects, using leftover from one project to create another! This particular twofer set started with a lovely floral stenciled panel, created using the new Bellflower Blossoms. Let’s get started with the details on today’s project!

To begin, I firmly placed my white A2 panel of cardstock on my Stencil Station, then used the Simon Says Stamp Shading Brushes to blend Pawsitively Saturated Inks in shades of Shell, Salmon, Coral, & Eucalyptus using the new Bellflower Blossoms all over the panel. I love the beautiful blushy coral tones with this pretty floral pattern! Once I had finished adding all of the stenciled layers to the panel, I placed the shadow layer from the new Opulent Thanks set on the bottom right corner and ran it through my die cutting machine, creating a window with which I could create my shaker.

After I had created my die cut window, I trimmed the stenciled panel down slightly so that it was a wee bit smaller than my A2 card front, creating a delicate white frame around the edge of my patterned panel. I backed the opening with some leftover stamp packaging and adhered it with some super sticky double sided tape. I also added some foam adhesive around the window, creating a complete ring around the opening to hold my sequins with foam adhesive strips. I filled the window with some Gilded Sequin Mix and placed it on my white card base, creating a pretty backdrop for the detail layer of the sentiment!

Once I had created the shaker window and card base, it was time to embellish the front. I cut the detail layer of the Opulent Thanks set from some deep green pearlescent cardstock and adhered it directly over the shaker window with liquid adhesive. I also die cut some pretty blooms using the new Tissue Petal Stems, cutting coordinating shades of coral cardstock and some foliage with the same pearly green cardstock. I arranged the blooms around the shaker window, adhering them with liquid and thin foam adhesive for added dimension. Isn’t it so pretty? And I have leftovers for a future project!!

Well, that’s all for me today. I will be back in a day or two with part two of my Stenciled Twofer series to show you how I used the leftover die cuts. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!

Happy Peachy Shaker with Simon Says Stamp!

Hi friends! Have you seen the new Every Happiness release? (click HERE to check out the entire release!) It’s full to the brim of beautiful new goodies: stamps, dies, stencils, embellishments…. so much to tickle your crafty fancy! I used the beautiful new Sweet Blooms stencil with some older products to create this pretty, peachy shaker card, and I just love how dainty and feminine it came out. Let’s get started with the details on my project!

This project hinges on the delicate, dainty blooms from the new Sweet Blooms stencil that was released with the Every Happiness collectin. I used my Stencil Station to safely hold my white A2 card front, then blended each layer of the Sweet Blooms set using Pawsitively Saturated Inks in shades of Shell, Ballerina, & Tidepool. I love how delicate this floral pattern is…. it’s neutral enough to be super versatile with whatever focal point you want to add to it!! It reminds me of a baby blanket or pretty nursery wallpaper!

After I had finished stenciling the background, I used the same ink shades to stamp several elements from the recently-released Lettered Oh Happy Day stamp set, which features some chunky greetings and floral accents. The simplicity of the floral accents work beautifully with the simplistic floral backdrop of the stenciled panel! I stamped all of the elements with my MISTI and used the coordinating dies to cut each piece.

To create my flat shaker panel, I used super sticky double sided tape to create a clear pouch over my stenciled background with some leftover stamp packaging. Before sealing it, I added plenty of Creamsicle Embellishments, which move beautifully in the pouch! Before I began adhering the stamped elements to the front of my shaker panel, I die cut a crisp white Daisy Oval Frame (an older die, but still a favorite of mine!) to help add a little more dainty whimsy to the card. I adhered it to the shaker panel with some liquid adhesive, then added the stamped elements over the top with thin foam adhesive squares. I just love how delicate and dainty this project is!

Well, that’s all for my project today! If you haven’t checked out the new Every Happiness release (click HERE to check out the entire release!) I highly encourage you to do so…. so many fun new goodies to play with! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!
