Periwinkle Mums with New Simon Says Stamp + Final Day of STAMPtember!

September 30, 2025

This post was sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon!

Hi friends! Today is the final day of the month-long STAMPtember celebration with Simon Says Stamp! I have another project to share with you featuring some of the new goodies that were released as part of the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember release, which are will be restocked like the normal monthly releases. The gorgeous new blurple inks that I’ve used for today’s card are out of stock at the moment, but you can always enter your email address and click “notify me” to be emailed as soon as they’re back in stock! Let’s get started with the details on my project.

*I have gathered links to all of the products used at the bottom of the post for your convenience, using affiliate links. Thank you for shopping with my links! I truly appreciate your support for my work!*

I began my project by using blending brushes to blend a gorgeous ombré panel of A2 cardstock using the new Ink Trio 31, which includes Pawsitively Saturated Inks in shades of Periwinkle, Clematis, Crocus. These gorgeous blurple inks are such a perfect addition to the Pawsitively Saturated Ink lineup, definitely filling a gap in the color palette!

After I had finished blending, I ran the panel through my die cutting machine with the new Magnificent Mums Embossing Folder. I did the embossing after ink blending so that the blended color would remain clean and smooth between the colors; blending after embossing adds some mottling and shadowed areas where the embossed design is particularly deep. Once I had run the blended panel through my machine, I lightly swiped the Simon Says Stamp White Pigment Ink Pad directly over the raised areas, emphasizing the beautifully detailed design. I also splattered some iridescent watercolors on the panel for an artistic, textured look that reminds me of a flower field covered in morning dew!

For the greeting, I die cut the detail layer of the previously-released Scripty Hugs with Simon Says Stamp Blue Violet cardstock, then layered it on a vellum shadow layer. I popped the sentiment die cut up with thin strips of foam adhesive, then tucked a silver hot foiled sentiment cut from the Reverse Everyday EZ Strips set using the EZ Strips die. These sentiment cards and the coordinating dies available make it super easy to have a plethora of sentiments at your fingertips to quickly finish off your card! I embellished the card front with some Prism Pawsitively Dazzling Gems and tucked a bow created using the Simon Says Stamp Iridescent White Cord amongst the greeting components.

Well, that’s all for my project today! Today, unfortunately, is the final day to purchase the different Collaboration Sets (click HERE or below to see what’s left on the projects that I created throughout the month!)

Here’s a remind of how these sets look in action:

If you love any of these sets, don’t forget to purchase them ASAP, because once STAMPtember is over, these beauties will be gone!

Well, that’s all for my project today! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and thanks so much for your enthusiasm during this epic 16th Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember celebration! Have a marvelous day!

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Collaboration 9/25/25: Pinkfresh Studio!

September 25, 2025

Hi friends! I am back with another STAMPtember collaboration project, this time featuring one of my all-time favorite brands: Pinkfresh Studio! (You can see all of their products in the Simon Says Stamp store HERE.) Today’s collaboration set, called Every Lovely Reason, features not only a stamp and die set, but you can also purchase Pinkfresh Studio’s signature coordinating layered stencil designs to make your projects come together lickety split! (Check out the full product suite HERE.) Pinkfresh Studio also has some of the most luscious ink colors in the industry, so I chose my favorite set of blue inks and got to work creating this blue-tiful card. Let’s get started with the details!

If you are new to STAMPtember from Simon Says Stamp, throughout the month of September, Simon Says Stamp will have exclusive collaborations with some of our favorite stamping companies, releasing an exclusive, limited edition stamp set designed in collaboration with a different company nearly every day! (Click HERE to see the Collaboration Sets page, and be sure to bookmark it!)

To begin, I stamped the large floral frame from the Pinkfresh Studio STAMPtember collaboration Every Lovely Reason set onto some white cardstock using Pinkfresh Studio’s Slumber ink. This mid-blue ink is the most stunning shade of blue, cool and lush and elegant. I stamped directly over the top of the floral frame image with embossing ink, then added my favorite Iridescent Blue embossing powder from Hero Arts to add exquisite shimmer and iridescent shine to the lines of the image. Because I wanted to create a tone-on-tone monochromatic project, I used one of Pinkfresh Studio’s fabulous 1″ blender brushes to lightly blend Slumber ink over the entirety of the image so that the white outlines of the die cut image would match the blue background panel that I had in my mind’s eye.

Once I had finished stamping and embossing the main image, I placed the panel on my stencil station, comprising of a glass magnetic mat and Craft Tacky Mat from Simon Says Stamp. This combination allows me to be ready to stencil at a moment’s notice, holding my cardstock and stencils down effortlessly! I arranged each stencil over my embossed floral frame, then blended Slumber, Blue Jay, and Sapphire inks using the 1″ blender brushes, creating a gorgeous monochromatic floral frame. After I had finished stenciling, I used the coordinating die to die cut the finished frame.

To create the background, I used the large 1″ blending brushes (if you struggle with smooth blends, these brushes are the answer! So soft and so worth the investment!) from Pinkfresh Studio to blend the same shades of blue ink on my A2 card front. I created a blue haze all over the card front, then concentrated a bit more of the Blue Jay and Sapphire inks on the top right corner, with the intention of creating a visual cascade on the card front. I splattered the blended background with some iridescent watercolors, then arranged my stenciled floral frame on the card front, turning it 90* so that it hung off of the long side slightly and trimmed the excess. I popped up the frame with foam adhesive, then added a greeting from Every Lovely Reason with a double layer of foam adhesive to help it pop from the background. I tucked a bow tied using Iridescent Cord next to the greeting for added texture and added a few Prism Pawsitively Dazzling gems for additional sparkle!

Well, that’s all for my project today! If you love the STAMPtember Collaboration Sets, don’t wait to purchase them, because these limited edition sets will NOT be restocked. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! (Click HERE to see the Collaboration Sets page, and be sure to bookmark it!) Each day holds new surprises, so be sure to check out the Simon Says Stamp social media at noon ET every day throughout STAMPtember so that you don’t miss out. Thanks so much for stopping by today, and happy STAMPtember!!!

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Collaboration 9/24/25: Penny Black!

September 24, 2025

Hi friends! I am back again with another STAMPtember collaboration project! Today, we’re introducing the exclusive, limited editon Penny Black STAMPtember Collaboration Set: Bright and Merry! You can check it out HERE. I decided to create a large A7 Christmas card today, taking advantage of the generous size of the detailed Christmas tree stamp in the Bright and Merry stamp set to create an easily mailed, almost-single layer holiday card with lots of sparkling elements and a pretty bow. Let’s get started on the details for my project!

To begin my project, I stamped the beautiful Christmas tree from Bright and Merry on a panel of Simon Says Stamp Sage cardstock using embossing ink, then used Hero Arts Iridescent Gold embossing powder to emboss the image. This iridescent embossing powder is absolutely exquisite on colored cardstock, but this card would look gorgeous if you replaced the gold with white ink and Iridescent Blue embossing powder for a cooler-toned project! After I had heat embossed the tree and the greeting from Bright and Merry onto a 4×6 panel of Sage cardstock, I used a blending brush to blend Sage Pawsitively Saturated Ink around the edge of the panel, creating a “glow” around the Christmas tree.

I love adding lots of sparkling elements to my holiday cards, so I used gold watercolor to splatter around the edges of the blended panel, creating shimmering metallic “snow” and adding that general magical Christmas feel to the card. To help the ornaments stand out a bit on the tree, I painted some gold glitter watercolors onto the ornaments, then added Hero Arts Crystal Lacquer directly over the top. The clear lacquer has multiple benefits; it keeps the glittery watercolor securely locked on the ornaments without worry that it will flake off while also adding some extra dimension and texture to the card front.

Once all of the lacquer and watercolor splatters were dried, I centered the blended panel over an A7 Sage card front, creating a Sage frame around my tree. I adhered the panel with liquid adhesive to keep it as flat as possible, and thus easy to mail. For a touch of further sparkle and embellishment, I added some Gold Pawsitively Dazzling Gems as well as a sparkling gold twine bow to the top of the tree. These final gold accents take the card from “pretty” to “polished,” in my opinion!

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Collaboration 9/23/25: Paper Rose!

September 23, 2025

Hi friends! I am back today with another STAMPtember collaboration project featuring gorgeous images from Paper Rose! This Australian company has so many unique stamp sets and absolutely exquisite patterned papers; you can check out all of their offerings in the Simon Says Stamp store by clicking HERE. The STAMPtember STAMPtember Thankful Florals collaboration set is so very beautiful, featuring a bouquet of pretty flowers and some additional foliage options so that you can create your own beautiful bouquet. Click HERE to see the set in all of it’s glory! I chose to create a crisp, icy card, complete with a delicately patterned background and plenty of shimmer.

(Click HERE to see the Collaboration Sets page, and be sure to bookmark it so that you don’t miss out!)

To begin, I used Simon Says Stamp’s Pastel Blue pigment ink to stamp the floral images from Thankful Florals on an A2 panel of white cardstock. To create these seamless patterns, I rotate the stamp and the cardstock each time I stamp; this helps create the look of a continuous pattern from one end of the cardstock to the other. Once I had finished stamping the background panel, I used a blending brush to lightly blend some of that gorgeous Pastel Blue ink in the center of the panel and splattered it with some shimmering, iridescent glitter watercolors.

Because I had created such a subtle background with the pale blue ink, I wanted to add a little extra shimmer to the focal point images to help them be more visible amongst the background. I used the same Pastel Blue pigment ink to stamp the floral bouquet and individual foliage images, then stamped again with sticky embossing ink and added Iridescent Blue embossing powder, creating these lovely, icy, shimmering images. To further enhance the main floral focal point, I used an equally icy blue alcohol marker to add the slightest touch of color to the flowers themselves. Once I had finished embossing and coloring the images, I die cut the finished florals and foliage with their coordinating dies and arranged them on the stamped and blended card front using foam adhesive.

For the greeting, I stamped a simple “thinking of you” from the STAMPtember Thankful Florals set using Simon Says Stamp Night Pawsitively Saturated Ink, then again with embossing ink and added the same Iridescent Blue embossing powder for that gorgeous shimmer. I used the coordinating die to cut the sentiment, then popped it up on the card front with a double layer of foam adhesive for maximum height. To embellish this icy, crisp card, I added some shimmering Opal Pawsitively Dazzling Gems and tucked an Iridescent White Cord bow amongst the floral swag for additional shimmer and texture!

Well, that’s all for my project for today’s STAMPtember Collaboration Release! If you love the STAMPtember Collaboration Sets, don’t wait to purchase them, because these limited edition sets will NOT be restocked. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and happy STAMPtember!!!

STAMPtember Collaboration Two-fer: Memory Box and Ink On 3!

September 20, 2025

Hi friends! Today, the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember exclusive, limited edition STAMPtember release is a two-fer: Memory Box and Ink On 3! The two stamp sets are completely different in style, but oh so fabulous in their own rights! I have a project featuring each stamp set to share with you so let’s get started with the details!

f you are new to STAMPtember from Simon Says Stamp, throughout the month of September, Simon Says Stamp will have exclusive collaborations with some of our favorite stamping companies, releasing an exclusive, limited edition stamp set designed in collaboration with a different company nearly every day! (Click HERE to see the Collaboration Sets page, and be sure to bookmark it!)

The darling, exclusive, limited edition Good Cheer stamp set (click HERE to see the set in full!) from Memory Box features several little winter time critters, complete with holiday accessories and sweet sentiments! I chose to stamp the penguin with his little cup of cheer, a gift, and the “good cheer” sentiment using Nocturne ink, then added clear embossing powder over the top to make the black lines as crisp as possible. I used OLO Markers to color the images in a vibrant cherry red and mint green color palette, then used the coordinating dies to die cut the finished images.

For the card front, I trimmed down a panel of white cardstock by 1/8″ on all sides, then blended Tidepool and Jade inks in the center of the white panel to create a minty halo behind my penguin, upon which I also stamped some snowflakes and added some iridescent glitter watercolor splatters. I matted this panel on a full size A2 Sea Glass card base, creating a pretty minty frame around my blended background. I trimmed down a block of shimmering, minty glitter cardstock and tucked it next to my penguin to give a little extra interest to the sentiment, which I adhered to the glitter strip. I stamped a few individual snowflakes and die cut them with their coordinating dies, popping them up around the penguin with some foam adhesive. I added smattering of shimmering mint colored gems, then tucked an iridescent white bow beneath the sentiment for one last touch of sparkle!

For my second project, I used the stunning, limited edition Bold and Beautiful STAMPtember set (click HERE to view the entire 6×8 set!) with my OLO Markers. I was first introduced to Ink On 3 through their Fadeout Ink, which is perfect for no-line coloring, so I thought it would be apropos for me to do some vibrant no-line coloring using their unique Fadeout Ink! I stamped the large image on a panel of Hammermill cardstock using Fadeout Ink, then used my OLO Markers in vibrant, intense shades of autumn rose, adding lots of deep shadows in the nooks and crannies to make sure that the contrast was as maximized as possble. I die cut the finished colored image with it’s super detailed coordinating die.

To the flower center, I added dots of gold paint pen and white gel pen to create the flower stamens. I popped up the generously-sized bloom on a plain white A2 card front with thin foam adhesive squares. In order to pull in those gold accents from the flower center, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Bold and Beautiful stamp set using gold embossing powder and die cut it with it’s coordinating die, then popped it up on the card front with a double layer of foam adhesive to help it pop from the vibrant flower. Finally, I added some Gold Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for added sparkle!

Well, that’s all for my projects today!

If you love the STAMPtember Collaboration Sets, don’t wait to purchase them, because these limited edition sets will NOT be restocked. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
