Hi friends! The new Simon Says Stamp August 2026 Card Kit is now available for preorder, and it’s such a stunner! With summertime comes verdant gardens and vibrant flowers, and the Made to Flourish kit pays homage to them so beautifully! (Click HERE to see all of the details on the kit!)

Here’s a sneak peek of the kit’s contents:

The amount of product in this kit is truly incredible; not only do you receive a fabulous new embossing folder, standalone die set, ephemera, and papers, but you also receive a gorgeous 6×8 stamp set with coordinating dies. Incredible value, right? The items retail for $125 when purchased individually, but you can purchase this amazing kit (while supplies last!) for only $44.99 (click HERE) or $39.99 for kit subscribers! (Click HERE to see how to become a subscriber!)

Sometimes, I find myself in a bit of a color rut, and when that happens, I like to pull out my Pinterest boards and look for an inspiring color palette. This orchid, peach, and blush color palette really spoke to me, so I selected several shades of colored cardstock from my stash and decided to use that as the creative kickoff point for my projects! I love pairing colored pencils with colored cardstock, so I knew that I would be pairing the florals from that gorgeous new Made to Flourish stamp set with my colored pencils and pretty pink cardstock!

For my first card, I chose to focus on that spectacular bloom from the new Brightest Blooms Embossing Folder, highlighting the details with some ink blending and sparkling watercolor gilding! I ran a panel of lavender-pink cardstock through my die cutting machine using the Brightest Blooms Embossing Folder. I then used a blending brush to lightly blend Fairy Pawsitively Saturated Ink around the edges of the embossed panel, keeping the embossed image clean.

After I had finished blending, I used iridescent glitter watercolors to “gild” the details of the flower and foliage, adding some lovely sparkle to the focal point. I also splattered some more sparkling watercolor around the blended edges, covering the main flower with a piece of scrap paper to keep the splatters from landing on the flower. Once I had finished adding the shimmering splatters, I die cut a simple greeting using the new add-on sentiment die set called Darling Script Greetings. I cut the detail layer from some orchid glitter cardstock, then backed it with a vellum shadow layer. I used thin strips of foam adhesive to pop up the sentiment, then added a pretty pink twine bow and some Peachy Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for additional sparkle!

For my second card, I kept that gorgeous orchid, peach, and blush colored cardstock palette, this time putting my colored pencils to use to create a lovely vase of flowers! I stamped a crock and one of the lovely bouquets from Made to Flourish using white pigment ink on the same lovely pale orchid cardstock used for the first card. I find that the white pigment ink works beautifully with no-line coloring using colored pencils on colored cardstock; the ink gets absorbed nicely into the colored pencil coloring! The key to coloring small images with colored pencils is a good pencil sharpener so that your points are always nice and crisp! Once I had finished coloring the crock and the bouquet, I used the included coordinating dies to cut the images out, using a pen knife to cut a slit in the crock so that I could place my bouquet within the vase itself.

After I had finished coloring the main focal point, I decided to frame the image in with one of the new Hand Tied Frame images, an add-on to the main kit. I love how whimsical these frames are; the bow at the top is designed to be part of the single die cut, but they also have included a standalone bow, as well! I die cut the large frame and the individual bow from darker orchid cardstock, pulling in more of the colors from the penciled bouquet onto my card front. I used alcohol markers to enhance some of the shadows on the standalone bow, deepening the orchid and adding some dimension.

I blended a little halo of color behind the bouquet with a blending brush and some Fairy Pawsitively Saturated Ink, splattering the background with some more iridescent glitter watercolors for more magic and whimsy. I adhered the frame with liquid adhesive, then arranged my bouquet and white embossed sentiment die cuts, grounding them with a strip of pearlescent blush cardstock. Finally, I popped up the standalone bow with some thin strips of foam adhesive and added some sparkling Peachy Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for one last touch of sparkle!

Well, that’s all for my projects today!

Peachy Bokeh with the New Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of the Month!

January 19, 2026

This post was sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon!

Hi friends! I have some belated inspiration to share with you using the February 2026 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of the Month, which is now available for preorder! (Click HERE to see all of the details of the kit!) I love the opportunity to work with these carefully-curated kits, because the coordinating components work so beautifully together that some of the creative work is done for me! I simply have to come up with a layout and add the general details. Here’s a sneak peek at this month’s kit:

All of the individual components of this kit retail for over $90, but you can purchase this kit for $44.99! What a bargain, right? And save even more by becoming a monthly subscriber. Click HERE to start your monthly subscription!

My card today takes it’s cues from the beautiful rose gold metallic cardstock that comes in the kit; I adore pairing rose gold with blush and peach tones, and so used that as my inspiration for this bokeh card. Let’s get started with the details on my project!

*I have gathered links to all of the products used at the bottom of the post for your convenience, using affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Thank you for shopping with my links! I truly appreciate your support for my work!*

To begin, I used a stamping block to stamp the solid circle images from Be Your Beautiful Self onto an A2 panel of Ivory cardstock, included with the kit. Whenever I see solid circle stamps, my mind immediately goes to bokeh. Remember how bokeh was all the rage about ten years ago? Well, I have created this bokeh background in honor of those bygone stylistic days! I used the “stamping off” method to achieve these soft overlapping circles, stamping circles of Rhubarb, Salmon, and Paprika Pawsitively Saturated Inks once on scratch paper off to the side using a stamp block and the foam Craft Pad to ensure extra crisp stamping, then stamping the soft remnants on my A2 panel. I did leave the Shell inked circles at full strength to keep them visible. I made sure to overlap some circles and try to be as random as possible with the placement so that it looked soft and blurred, like bokeh in a photograph! Once I had completed the stamping, I blended more Shell ink around the edges and splattered the background with some beautiful rose gold metallic watercolors.

While the background was drying, I used the concentric circle dies from the included Artful Palette die set to cut three different sizes of solid rose gold metallic circles. I envisioned a collage of die cut shapes on my bokeh background, and also die cut the three different sized butterfly dies from the sheet of vellum cardstock included with the kit.

To complete my collage, I stamped three different greetings from the Be Your Beautiful Self onto some more Ivory cardstock using embossing ink, then added Rose Gold embossing powder to coordinate beautifully with the peachy blush tones of the rest of the card. I used the coordinating dies (sold separately from the kit and linked below) to die cut the sentiments, then began arranging the die cut elements on my bokeh card front. I used liquid adhesive as well as the thin foam adhesive squares included in the kit, doubling the foam adhesive up for a few of the elements so that they were a bit taller than the others, adding plenty of dimension and interest to the card. Finally, I added some sparkling Peachy Pawsitively Dazzling Gems to the bodies of the butterflies and around the die cut collage!

Well, that’s all for me today! I think this card is so pretty, and shows that even the simplest of shapes can become the prettiest cards.

The Simon Says Stamp Card Kits are such an incredible value; the value of the individual elements of each kit equals far more than the $44.99 price tag, so you’re getting incredible bang for your buck. Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit: The Small Things- Now Available for Preorder!

December 14, 2025

This post was sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon!

Hi friends! The new Simon Says Stamp January 2026 (say what?!) Card Kit of the Month was just released and is now available for preorder! The The Small Things Kit such a lovely, peaceful kit filled with so many carefully curated products that work beautifully together or individually or with other products! Here’s a sneak peek at the contents of the kit:

The Small Things Kit features an absolutely beautiful stamp set that could be used for holiday cards and well beyond, layering stencils and coordinating dies, a spectacular embossing folder, patterned papers, embellishments, cardstock… so much value in one package and at a great price! The individual contents of the kit are valued at well over the $44.99 price tag (or $39.99 for subscribers, making an even better value! Click HERE to subscribe!)

I created two cards to share with you today, featuring a serene navy, teal, and turquoise color palette that I pulled from some of the absolutely stunning patterned papers included with the kit, perfect for creating those winter-but-not-holiday cards. Let’s get started with the details!

*I have gathered links to all of the products used at the bottom of the post for your convenience, using affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Thank you for shopping with my links! I truly appreciate your support for my work!*

When creating a card set like this, I like to first decide on my color palette. I loved the gorgeous teal, navy, and green color palette with which the patterned paper was designed, so I selected a snowy night scene and then selected cardstock and ink colors to match.

My shaker card began with that gorgeous panel of patterned paper, which I made into a flat shaker background with some gorgeous sequins and leftover acetate packaging. I used the A2 Rectangles dies with the Lacy Point Frames to create an intricate frame which I popped up on my shaker front with thin foam adhesive squares. To embellish this peaceful scene, I stamped the beautiful deer images from The Small Things using no-line coloring ink, then used Copic markers to do some coloring, adding black Micron pen and white gel pen to the details on the eyes and hoofs. I cut them out (you could use the coordinating dies which are available for purchase separately!) and then created a snowy tree using the new Snowy Tree die. I arranged all of the die cuts in the corner of my shaker frame, then added a leftover holiday sentiment strip. Such a pretty, serene card. I can feel the crisp and cold night air when I look at this card!

My second card features a fun fold, allowing that gorgeous Crystal Snowflake Stencil set and coordinating die to be the star of the show! I blended the snowflake image using Eucalyptus, Raindrop, and Night, adding a layer of the Twinkle Texture Paste included in the kit over the second stencil and sprinkling Rock Candy Glitter over the top for gorgeous, ice-encrusted sparkle! I die cut the completed and dried snowflake with its coordinating die and added some shimmering Pawsitively Dazzling Gems to the snowflake for even more sparkle!

For the card base itself, I trimmed a 5.5″ x 8.5″ panel of white cardstock, then used my Simon Says Stamp Score Board to score lines at 2 1/8″ from the edge of each side, creating my A2 card base with a fun fold! I used some small pieces of painter’s tape to keep the flaps folded down, then used the “kissing” method to stamp the individual snowflakes from The Small Things with the same shades of ink that I used to blend the snowflake stencil! I simply loaded up the snowflake stamps with ink, stamped once (or twice depending on how vibrant the color was to start) on some scratch paper, then stamped a lovely and soft snowflake pattern all over the card front. I layered a strip of the included silver foil cardstock with the Sage cardstock over the center of the gate-fold card, then adhered the stenciled snowflake to the center. Finally, I added a silver embossed sentiment strip in the center of the snowflake!

Well, that’s all for my projects today. This card kit is available for preorder right now and will begin shipping in early January, so it will be perfect for those winter cards or to get a jumpstart on next year’s Christmas cards! (Can you even believe that Christmas is less than 2 weeks away?!)

The Simon Says Stamp Card Kits are such an incredible value; the value of the individual elements of each kit equals far more than the $44.99 price tag, so you’re getting incredible bang for your buck. Simon Says Stamp Bright Christmas December 2025 Card Kit of the Month- Now Available for Preorder!

November 14, 2025

This post was sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon!

Hi friends! Simon Says Stamp is back again this month with another spectacular Card Kit of the Month, called Bright Christmas! (Click HERE to see the product page for the kit!) This kit is filled with stunning patterned papers and stickers in a gorgeous vintage style, as well as a stamp set that creates the most beautifully detailed vintage-inspired imagery in a reverse image technique, similar to linocut illustrations from mid-20th century, as well as a fabulous little gift card envelope die that is filled with accessories to dress it up! Check out the contents in the photo below:

The individual contents of this kit retail for nearly $85, but you can purchase the entire kit for only $44.99 (or less if you choose to become a kit subscriber HERE). I have created two different suites of goodies using the contents of this kit, so let’s get started with the details for today’s projects!

*I have gathered links to all of the products used at the bottom of the post for your convenience, using affiliate links at no extra cost to you. Thank you for shopping with my links! I truly appreciate your support for my work!*

I always enjoy the inspiration provided to me by the patterned papers included in these Card Kits of the Month! The beautiful vintage papers with their unique vintage color palettes were so striking, particularly the mint and red palette on one of the striped sheets, so I used that piece of patterned paper as the inspiration for my entire suite of projects for today with a vibrant cherry red, mint, and crisp white color palette.

Putting that patterned paper to use was super easy with the new Pine and Post Gift Card die set. I simply die cut the one-piece envelope die from the patterned paper, folded it up, and used Tear-Rific double sided tape to adhere the sides together. I then used coordinating red and mint cardstock to die cut the little extra bits and bobs included with the die set to make it extra special, finishing it off with a tag die cut that I embellished with some foliage stamps using the stamp set in the kit! I just love how this came out, and it was super quick to put together too; great for mass-producing!

My card came together equally quickly, keeping the color palette the same minty green and vibrant red. I began by stamping the detailed linocut snowy neighborhood image from Bright Christmas using Sage Pawsitively Saturated Ink. I wanted to add a pretty holiday swag above using the individual berry and leaf stamps in the Bright Christmas set, so I centered the square main focal point in the center of the card, leaving room at top and bottom for embellishment! The Bright Christmas Card Kit also includes a coordinating stencil specifically to add some fun details to the snowy rooftops, so I used that with the included Distress Texture Paste and some Rock Candy Glitter to add extra texture and sparkle to the card! To help draw the eye to the center of the card, I used the new Frames die set to die cut some bright red cardstock frames, adhering them around the edges of the main focal point. I just love how delicate and yet festive these frames are with the main image!

Once I had created the main card front, I used Cherry, Sage, and Juniper Pawsitively Saturated Inks to stamp individual foliage, berries, and that darling bow image, then used my sharp scissors to cut everything out. (There are coordinating dies available to purchase separately, which would make that step so much simpler!) I arranged the swag at the top of the card front, adhering all of the components with a mixture of foam and liquid adhesive. I also stamped a greeting using three individual stamps from Bright Christmas, trimming the strip down with my trimmer and popping it up at the bottom of my card front. Finally, I added a few touches of sparkle with some Opal Pawsitively Dazzling Gems!

For my final project, I used a technique that I haven’t used in literal years: decoupage! While scrolling on Pinterest the other day, I saw someone use pretty printed napkins with Mod Podge to create pretty holiday plates and thought how fun it would be to combine stamping with that same technique! I got my hands on some plain ceramic ornaments, then pulled out some tissue paper and Mod Podge. To start, I painted the ceramic ornament a crisp white with simple acrylic paint, then stamped the wreath using the individual foliage and berry images and same Pawsitively Saturated Inks on plain white tissue paper. I also stamped the beautiful deer image from Bright Christmas on another piece of plain tissue paper and allowed them to dry completely.

Next, I used a foam brush to add some Mod Podge to the painted ornament, smoothed the stamped tissue paper over the still-wet Mod Podge, and allowed it to dry for several minutes. Once the initial layer of Mod Podge had dried, I applied another layer of Mod Podge directly over the top of the tissue paper and covered the wet glue with Rock Candy Glitter, creating the most elegant and sparkly ornament! I used some red ribbons from my stash to add a loop and a bow on each side. I just love how this one came out and am excited to experiment more with this technique!

Well, that’s all for my projects today! I have another suite of projects to share with you using this marvelous kit, so be on the lookout for that post!

Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Religious Card Kit-Now Available for Preorder!

October 23, 2025

This post was sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. Thanks, Simon!

Hi friends! I have a special pair of projects to share with you tonight using the wonderful new limited edition religious card kit from Simon Says Stamp! The Wrapped In His Love kit is standalone from the Monthly Card Kits, while still featuring the same coordinated, beautifully curated array of products that work perfectly together and individually. The best part about these kits is the value; the kit is retailing for $59.99, but the individual products add up to a retail value of nearly $100! You can’t beat the fabulous value. I have created two projects using several elements of the Wrapped In His Love kit, paired with a few older products, so let’s get started with the details on my projects!

*I have gathered links to all of the products used at the bottom of the post for your convenience, using affiliate links. Thank you for shopping with my links! I truly appreciate your support for my work!*

The Wrapped In His Love kit features a large stamp set filled with beautiful holiday imagery, including a vintage-style, multi-step church image, as well as several poignant sentiments. Beyond the main stamp set, there are stencils, standalone dies, sequins embellishments, patterned papers, solid specialty cardstocks, even plain cardstock and envelopes! The value is truly remarkable, and the components of the kit can be used for so many cards beyond the consumable pieces.

The beautiful patterned papers in the Wrapped In His Love kit inspired my color palette for both of my cards, pairing stark black of a Christmas night with verdant greenery and metallic accents. I stamped the generously-sized church image and solid trees from Wrapped In His Love using Pastel Yellow Pigment Ink, Buttercream Rainbow Splash Ink, and Pawsitively Saturated Inks in shades of Artichoke, Kale, and Woodsy, coordinating the colors on the church with the vibrant patterned paper. I love how creamy the walls of church are paired with the soft glow of the Pastel Yellow Pigment Ink on the windows!

After I had stamped and cut out all of the images, I trimmed down the patterned paper so that it would nestle proportionally in the center of a black A7 card front, then matted it with a slightly larger panel of the champagne foil cardstock included with the kit. I arranged the scene on a strip of black cardstock that I flagged at the ends, making it slightly longer than the width of the card to add extra interest, onto which I also added a thin strip of the sparkling platinum glitter cardstock included with the kit. I heat embossed a greeting from Wrapped in His Love onto black cardstock with Platinum Sparkle embossing powder, then popped it up with some foam adhesive, finally finishing the card off with some Gold Pawsitively Dazzling Gems. I just love the visual heft of an A7 card, especially at Christmas! The larger area gives you lots of room to create beautiful scenes.

For my second card, I used a similar color palette, this time focusing my attention on the beautiful Let Us Adore Him die and another of the beautiful patterned papers in the kit. The ethereal starry night forest scenes in the patterned papers are simply divine! I trimmed one down to A2 size, then used an arch die from the A2 Arches set to die cut a window in a panel of black cardstock, backing the opening with a piece of the clear bag included with the kit, and creating a seamless line of foam adhesive around the back of the opening. I filled my shaker pouch with the shining Mini Stars Embellishment confetti, which comes in the kit, as well as some Starbright sequins from my stash.

To adorn the front of my shaker card, I die cut each layer of the Peaceful Dove from the Ivory cardstock included with the kit, layering the pieces together with liquid adhesive. I love the subtlety of the single cardstock color paired with the texture that each layer provides the dove; it’s intricate without overpowering the other elements of the card! I die cut the beautiful Let Us Adore Him sentiment die that is included with the kit, cutting the detail layer from the metallic platinum cardstock included with the kit as well as the shadow from some vellum from my stash. I also trimmed down a sentiment strip from the Joy to the World Reverse Sentiment Strip panel and layered all of these die cuts on the front of my shaker card. As a final touch of greenery, I added a few sprigs of foliage cut using Midnight Green cardstock and the Pine Needle Cluster die set, tucking them behind the die cut sentiment.

Well, that’s all for my projects today! As with most Simon Says Stamp Card Kits, the Wrapped In His Love kit kit and it’s fabulous value are only available for a limited time, so don’t wait to get your preorder in!! If you miss out on the kit itself, you can also purchase the individual items on their own. It’s so great to have options!! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous day!
