Good morning! The month of April is a special one in the Honey Bee Stamps family… it’s Honey Bee’s Third Birthday! We have SO many wonderful products to show you over the next several days… Melissa has been busy creating some beautiful stamp and die sets and standalone dies for your crafting pleasure!!! These beautiful stamps and dies will be available for purchase on Monday, April 30, but for the next several days we will be tantalizing you with sneak peeks of the products as well as projects made with the new products! For Day 1, we are showcasing some beautiful flowers, a cutie little pig, some neat standalone dies, and some gorgeous sentiment sets. (You can see them all in more detail on the HoneyBee Blog) I’m focusing on the Spring Blossoms stamp and die set, as well as the Mr. and Mrs. sentiment stamp and die set!
I started by heat embossing some of those gorgeous blooms from Spring Blossoms onto some watercolor paper using rose gold embossing powder, then die cutting them out with the coordinating dies. I then used Prima Classics Watercolor Confections to watercolor these pretty blooms. While the flowers were drying, I used the Mr. and Mrs. stamp and die set to create the greeting. I also die cut the Hexagon Stipple cover plate die from some pale blue card stock to create a subtly textured background.
I arranged all of my die cuts on the background panel, then adhered them using dimensional foam adhesive and liquid adhesive. The final touch was to add some beautiful Moonlight jewels to help round out the bouquet and add some sparkle.
Well, that’s all for my project today! I hope you will check out all of the projects with these beautiful new products… seriously, Melissa the team have outdone themselves with this release. Gorgeous!
